“Delicious food, and they're open 24 hours!”
Reviewed May 28, 2013

I'm not much of a "bar" person, but the restaurant had really good bar food. We were there for breakfast, and had the "Tuscany Eggs Benedict" and the "Cream of Cod" (think of a Lenten version of Creamed Chipped Beef). Both were delicious! The menu has your basic American bar food, but also has Irish, Italian, and Caribbean specialties. Can't wait to go back and try their dinners!

“Neighborhood Pub with a Difference”
Reviewed April 17, 2013

St, George is located in Brigantine's only shopping center. There are two halves to this site. The older, original half is unchanged. It is a dimly lit bar with 6-8 tables. The newer half is a well lit, nicely appointed dining room. The menu is the same on both sides. The menu is ambitious for a venue like this, but they seem to deliver on the wide variety available. That ranges from typical pub snacks and appetizers and pub sandwiches and pizza to $25-$35 dollar dinners.
It is not gourmet, but the food is good and it draws me back regularly.
They do run specials. The best deal is when they have the 2 appetizers for the price of one. That is usually 5-7 on Tuesday and Friday.

“St George's Pub has a connected restaurant serving enjoyable food including breakfast, lunch and dinner 7 days a week.”
Reviewed April 10, 2013 via mobile

We've been here numerous times as it's in a convenient location with plenty of parking and serves good food. Favorites for lunch include the farmhouse chicken salad full of nuts and dried berries. Lunch specials include good soups. Recently I ordered a lunch order special of the broiled scallops for $7.99 which came complete with soup and vegetable. It was excellent. Their strip steaks are terrific too but, per several experiences, request all sauces be placed on the side whenever possible as they tend to over sauce. Wing specials of $20 for 40 wings on Wednesday are a bargain and for the same per wing price as a two for appetizers on Tuesday. Usually priced at $9.99 for most appetizers, Tuesdays offer clams casino, Tai or Diablo style mussels, calamari and other choices.
Bread baskets are available upon request but the basic dinner rolls served are not really of good quality. They would be advised to obtain their bread and rolls from one of the many local excellent bakers such as Formica's or Aversa'.
Basics such as open face turkey, meat loaf and lamb stew are also on the menu.
Special menu's are excellent with interesting choices but again, hold the sauce.

“Great neighborhood pub/restaurant”
Reviewed March 21, 2013

This is a pub/restaurant in a strip center, but don't let that keep you away. We were there the night before St. Patty's day so the place was rocking, lots of fun. My husband had some traditional Irish fare, all great. I had fish and chips. A bit too much breading, but fresh and very good. Service was great, nice atmosphere, and there was Irish soda bread for the table - yum!

“a family reunion”
Reviewed January 23, 2013

Six of us gathered at St. George's for dinner to catch up, and we all enjoyed a great meal with wine. After a small garden salad, I had wonderful sushi-grade tuna with seaweed salad and baked potato with sour cream. Others had Irish stew in a bread bowl and tuna encrusted with sweet potato, for example. Service was good and the ambience was good for families. Location was just over the bridge in Brigantine with free parking.
