“Great except Jerko the Maitre' d”
Reviewed October 2, 2012

Nothing much to add to the other great reviews of this hotel. Comfortable, clean, nice pool and workout facilities. My only fault was with the maitre' d at the restaurant. For some reason he was downright rude. When my 90-year-old mother-in-law sat down on a chair while we waited for a table he came over and asked her to stand up and moved the chair. When I told him her back was hurting her, he just glared at me. It appeared we were the only ones in the restaurant and yet we had to wait 15 minutes for a table. Once we were finally seated everything went OK and the breakfast was fine, but that guy really shouldn't be in the "hospitality" business.

Room Tip: Great hotel, avoid their restaurant.

I've stayed at this property too many times to count and it's one of the most well-run properties I've visited. The staff are amazing, Terry and Frank run a tight ship, and it shows! The concierge lounge is excellent and well-run by Mary. And I love the food at T-Bones - Locals actually frequent this restaurant for the incredible steaks!

Room Tip: Try to get a room on the parking lot side.

We used the Bridgewater Marriott as the hotel for our wedding block and probably had 25 rooms booked from our party. We also stayed here on our wedding night, even though we live in the area, so we could be near our friends and relatives staying here. They were very hospitable to us from the start, making this part of wedding-planning very easy and giving us a really great rate for beautiful rooms. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area, and have booked it for many business associates traveling to the area. The restaurant is also above-average as well.

Room Tip: If you can choose a corner room it will be a bit larger than a standard room.

I have been staying here a few nights each week on business for the past 3 months. It is the best Marriott I have ever tried. Rooms are big, bright and clean. The staff is super friendly and professional and goes out of their way to make your stay pleasant.

We stayed at this hotel while we were attending a festival in Readington.
The hotel is located just in front of the mall in Bridgewater: this is convenient.
Staff at the front desk was really helpful.
Breakfast, we only used once: it was way too greasy. Hasbrowns, toast... : it was all swimming...
Rooms are normal size and decoration is as you would expect for a Mariott. One little minus: the dust on the headboard was there for more than a couple of weeks....
During the weekend, the hotel was completely booked and the parkinglot (although it is a big parkinglot) was completely filled!
The hotel has no shuttle or courtesy car, so if you have no car and want to go to a restaurant or train station, you always need a taxi. They are not outside, so count about 15 min. waiting time.
Overal: I would stay here again if I needed to be in the area.

Room Tip: None of the rooms is noise: they have all dubbel windows.

Stayed at this Marriott hotel for 3 nights. Very pleasant. Hotel staff were wonderful. The hotel is very clean, bed was comfortable. Room was spotless! Swimming pool was great with no odor, clean and so was the gym. I give the Management 4 stars for this hotel. I took one point away due to the maid service. Our room was empty from 9am to 1 pm and it was not cleaned on our return. We were going to a Wedding so wanted to shower and change. When we returned that evening they cleaned but forgot to leave clean towels. Had to call management because the maid I tried to talk to the next morning did not appear to understand English. If you are a light sleeper, request a room facing the other side of the major road. We were on the 5th floor room 524 and the sound of the trucks all night was a problem. Had to use ear plugs.Loved that the shopping mall and good restaurants were walking distance. Would I return again...Yes, but would request a different room.

Room Tip: Request a room on the other side of the major road. We had room 524 and the traffic made it hard to...
