Nestled on the private Culver Lake in northwest New Jersey is an oasis of a restaurant offering great indoor and outdoor seating and a decent menu. If you're not expecting gourmet meals then their menu will satisfy you. Had the duck $16.25 (advertised as crispy) and had to return because it was not. It came back 7 minutes later burnt! Other than that the place is a gem. Service was outstanding in spite of the fact that on a Sunday afternoon they were extremely busy, our server Jessica managed to take care of all our requests and still maintain a sense of humor. The portions are generous and pricing is average and a little more for the area, but there's not much competition in the region so the fact that the place has a lot to offer makes it a good find.
Watching the boats pull up to the dock and seeing the shimmering lake toward sunset was awesome and rewarding.
Because it is so popular it is busy all the time (according to some guests we spoke to) so don't plan on having quiet conversations there over the din of all the other patrons.
However, this does give the place a wonderful energy and warrants a visit (or more).
Hopefully they will up the standards on some of their menu items
