“Place to Go for Coal-Fired Pie!”
Reviewed September 22, 2012

My husband and I loved this place when it was the original CBO. We headed back there
last night to see what the new owners had to offer. We were definitely not disappointed! The pizza was even better than before--thin crust, great sauce, fresh mozzerella and basil. Yum-yum! We split one of their salads and the dressing was delish. Although we were disappointed that they didn't have the coconut gelato that was listed on the menu, the coffee and caramel gelato hit the spot. The front of the restaurant was opened to the outside, so on this beautiful evening, we enjoyed a nice bottle of wine, intimate seating and a great meal. What else could you ask for? Can't wait for a return visit.

“Food Great, Service Attentive & Staff Friendly & Helpful”
Reviewed August 2, 2012

We stumbbled into Del Ponte's last summer, we were heading to another pizzeria which we didn't realize was closed on Monday's. This is our new go to at the shore. Love their pizza, next door is the original bakery which if amazing, best part is you can order any item in the bakery after your dinner, the staff runs right over, you can have you pick of their favorites as well. Staff is the best, kind, friendly, attentive service. Couldn't ask for more. Here's the best part it's a BYOB!! which saves the bottom line for sure!! On a beautiful night there is outdoor seating as well. Best of the best at the shore.

“Quaint place, great food, great price!”
Reviewed July 28, 2012 via mobile

Lovely atmosphere to sit outside and eat as long as its not to hot. The food is delish and the prices can't be beat! Then to go next door to the bakery for the most amazing canolis or cupcakes or Italian pastry.... Yummmmmm!!
