“An artisan approach to pizza”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 30, 2013

We had 2 pizzas --1 red and 1 white and 1 salad to share. All were outstanding. The white pizza was a mushroom with a few additional ingredients that I would not have imagined went well together -- they did! Our red pizza was with Italian sausage and also outstanding. The atmosphere is a piece of Italy housed in a former bank building. Service is very hospitable, friendly and timely, yet we did not feel at all rushed.

“Authentic Wood Fired Pizza !”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 15, 2013

We had dinner tonight with friends at this relatively new restaurant in Bordentown, located in the old bank in the center of town. The pizzas come in "red" and "white" with several choices for each style. We had the Funghi red and a Five Cheese white. They were both SO good. Before that, we had the special house salad which featured fresh Mozzarella, Prosciutto, Heirloom tomatoes and figs on Arugula. One of our party had a fabulous Cesar salad. Both were very nice. For dessert we had some of the "Smores" gelato and one of the incredible apple "pies" ala mode. The pie crust was made with more of this great pizza dough. This finale topped off the great meal. Local pizza shops now have a real contender in the Bordentown neighborhood.

“Naples in Bordentown " Quality in choice not Quantity"”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 12, 2013

This is "NOT" a typical pizzeria. The pies are individual size not " up sized" the quality and taste of the ingredients make up for a bigger bland pie.
The pies here remind me of being on vacation in Italy. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. It is a meal to look forward to enjoying, bite by bite. You should, "NO" you need to try the pies at this "unique" to our pizzeria.
The pannini is next on our to do list , they looked superb!!
The pizza oven is a huge work of art!!

“Fresh, handmade, delicious!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 4, 2013

Artisan style pizza, not your typical local pizza joint pizza. Large salad generous enough for two. Gelato was a delicious ending. Leave the kids home, bring your own wine (or beer) and friends and enjoy! Buon appetito!

“Great Artisan Pizza, Enjoyable Evening, Attentive Staff”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 28, 2013

Stopped by for dinner on a Thursday evening. Ben, our waiter, was very attentive and really enjoyed speaking with owner/chef who came over during our meal to ask us how we were enjoying our meal. As they are new, there is a limited pizza (individual 16" pizzas and panni's) but don't let his hold you back. The choices were masterful with plenty of choices of great FRESH toppings. Had the 3 mushoom/3 cheese pizza with fresh basil and prosciutto - EXELLENT.

Pizza cooks within 5 minutes due to special oven imported from Italy. Not your typical Jersey pizza dough - reminded me of the earthen baked bread in Egypt. Definitely a delight for the mouth and tummy!

Got the apple pie and was shocked to get that on a 12" pizza dough - beautifully seasoned apples baked on the dough, with a heaping helping of ice cream and caramel sauce. One of these can be shared by 4 people. We were over the moon.

Kids may be a bit finicky as it is artisan pizza, not the local corner joint syle of pizza. Ingredients were 100% fresh. They make the mozzerella fresh every day. Loved the interior, very nicely appointed. Bring your own Booze (BYOB). Great place, comfortable, attentive, and wonderful atmosphere - everything a meal out should be. Kudo's!
