We have been going here for years. My wife is filipino so i was initially sort of brought here. Filipino food isnt always my favorite food but i have really found some gems on the menu. And even some things i would think i would have liked are quite good. Most of the appetizers are excellent, especially the standard "lumpia shanghai". The soups are always very tasty, even the clear broth they give you is simple but a nice start. If you chicken out of the filipino dishes, there are several thai items that are good. Having said that, the chicken gata is my absolute favorite dish. Ask for a little red pepper flakes on the side and you can dose the heat appropriate to your taste to balance the coconut base. Most of the pork dishes are very savory as long as you are not afraid of the richness (fat).
Deserts are traditional filipino, cakes and ice cream. If you want the whole immersion, try the halo halo (translation: mix-mix) ice cream mish mash. It has everything you would never expect to taste good together in there and it is geat. Worth it to save the room...
A lot of filipinos would say this place is pricy but i think you get what you pay for, the service and ambiance is much better than most filipino places, which tend to have some good food but lack any sort of decor.
