This plain vanilla looking BYO seafood restaurant and market serves fresh and imaginatively prepared seafood. We visited Saturday night with friends and their specials included Tuna Margharita and Pistachio-Crusted Salmon. Tough choice, but two of us ordered the tuna special, which was served over a zesty mushroom risotto, topped by shrimp and tomatoes, and accompanied by steamed broccoli and carrots. It was extraordinary! My wife had coconut shrimp accompanied by sweet potato fries and termed it outstanding. Best of all, the tab for four (excluding tip) came to less than $100. Service was attentive – the batter-dipped shrimp was undercooked, but quickly replaced. The only negative is the noise level, but for world-class fish and seafood at reasonable prices, Mr. Shrimp is hard to beat.
