Went there on a Saturday afternoon-evening with my family and enjoyed walking on the new boardwalk (without parking meters!), but was surprised to see the trash left everywhere. The "food block" was a complete mess. Seemed like people ate and drank, then walked away. The Dunkin' Donuts was especially bad, every table was sticky, and by evening they were out of donuts. So we decided to go for ice cream, and wound up paying $5 a cone, ouch. It was very hot in the ice cream place, so we went outside, but we couldn't find a place to sit, so we thought we'd sit on a boardwalk bench... and couldn't find one. Finally we spotted one near a rest room, but it was occupied before we could get there. I advise anyone going there to bring a bag and take home your trash. Maybe a summer Saturday is not a good day to go.
