“Our Favorite Place to stay on LBI”

We stay here every year. It is a family owned establishment. You are treated like family. They screen their customers on the phone to make sure they are not getting any riff-raff or partiers, which having a young child, is very important. This has all the typical traditional Jersey Shore amenities. If you are looking for a 5 star Trump Tower experience, please drive to Atlantic City. We have stayed in all of the different types of rooms, including the ocean front. We prefer the suite, which has a pocket door that separates the bedroom from the living room. When our little one falls asleep, we can let him sleep in peace and we can watch tv in the living room area and not disturb him. The suites have a flat screen tv in the living room and a tv in the bedroom, microwave, coffee maker with coffee, college dorm sized fridge, dining table and chairs. The owners will recommend places to eat where the locals eat. I can't say enough great things about this hotel.

Room Tip: All rooms are quiet. If you want lots of room, get a suite, if you want to be able to gaze at the oc...

This place is a gem on the jersey shore. The owner takes pride in his establishment and makes sure that every guest is happy. The staff is courteous and helpful whether it is something you need for your stay or local information about the island. We will continue to stay here.

Location !!! You walk out the door down the path to a beautiful beach!!! When you are in the room the thought of "cheap motel" screams loudly at you. Those synthetic comforters yuck! And where do you buy bricks for pillows?! Why is it when the people above us flush , I fear the water will come through the wood paneled walls. But location!!!!

My wife and I decided to "go down the shore" for a few days. We thought we'd walk around Beach Haven and shop for a reasonable place to stay. To our surprise we booked the first place we stopped at, Coral Seas. I appreciated that the management didn't play the price game that so many others play: they set a very reasonable price and were rewarded with a near full house. Very smart business. In addition to providing a reasonable rate, the staff was very friendly, accommodating, and informal. The final selling point was the cleanliness of the entire facility. The room was basic, but that was essentially all we needed. There's no question that we'll stay here the next time we go to LBI.

Excellent location, great for the children coming on and off beach, the managers/owners were incredibly helpful/thoughtful. This place is for the convenience, location, friendly service, clean well maintained facilities, beachfront, pool, and just overall a laid back vibe. Honest as can be and I have stayed at many a five star hotel.

This is my second review as my last review was in August 2010. Not much of a change and that is a good thing. Clean, basic room. Family friendly atmosphere and a nice stay at a fair price. This time around we stayed in the suite room which offers a bedroom and then another room with a living room area with a sofabed. Flat screens in both rooms and the rooms are well kept.

I wanted to take the family away for just a few days to limit the expenses, so we stayed 1 night at Coral Seas. We live in Pennsylvania and wanted to make the most of our 2 days at the beach. We arrived at 10 am and the Coral Seas staff were gracious enough to let us use the beach badges (included with the room) even though we weren't able to check in yet. The front desk took our cell number and phoned us around 2pm saying that our room was available. The room was small but clean. The room had a flat panel TV, 2 queen sized beds, fridge and bathroom. The hotel is older, but still nice. The windows were open in the room when we entered. The room was a little musty, but I turned on the air conditioner and that helped. The pool was a nice sized pool, and clean. Several new lounging chairs and tables around the pool. Plenty of parking, and right next to the beach. The beach was nice, with a designated swimming area that had 2 lifeguards stationed there. The motel does not have a restaurant, so we had takeout from Pinky Shrimps (just a few miles north). Their food is excellent, and we ate at the pool. Checkout was 11 am. The staff was nice enough to let us use their pool during the remainder of the day, and also the beach badges (we stayed until 3:30 pm but got rained on so we decided to leave). The staff did ask that we move our car out of the parking lot and to the street so that arriving guests could have a place to park. I was very happy to oblige. The only thing I have to complain about were the beds. They were too hard for me and I did not get a good sleep. Overall, we had a great time. We have rented a house on LBI before, and that was really nice. But, Coral Seas offered a nice alternative for a short stay, with a pool and excellent access to the beach!
