It's been over a year since we stayed here but we just came back from staying at another B&B on Cape Cod and we kept remarking how it wasn't nearly as nice and as good as 123 Main. Barbara and Bob are wonderful hosts (1). The B&B is beauitful and charming (2). The room we stayed in was lovely (3) and most importantly the food was absolutely out of this world (4). Seriously, who knew breakfast could be served in 3 courses and look so good you don't want to eat it. Good thing we did because it was wonderful. The B&B we stayed at down the Cape was nice but it didn't compare with 123. (we were there in May 2012)

Clean, comfortable, and charming. I think those adjectives are the best way to describe this bed and breakfast. Bob and Barbara do a top notch job to make this the perfect place to stay around lake winnipesauke. "Chef Barbara" cooks up an amazing gourmet breakfast that changes each morning. Bob has mastered the ability to keep welcoming conversation going, while making sure everything is run smoothly. The rooms are clean, and the beds are comfortable. I have not stayed in many B&Bs, but this experience has now made me a B&B vacationer. After staying here I think I might have already experienced the best B&B in New England.

Barbara and Bob made us feel very welcome and were the perfect hosts. Nothing was too much trouble, the food was gourmet and our room was comfortable and very well appointed. We would love to come back.

Room Tip: One of the rooms has a bathroom that requires you to enter from the hall outside the room. Bathrobes are provided and it wasn't a problem, however if you want an ensuite make sure you ask for one of the other two rooms.

My husband and I have never been B & B fans, but now we are converts thanks to Barbara and Bob. They have a plaque that says "come as guests and leave as friends". How true. It is difficult to describe the comfort, the AWESOME food, and the warm and inviting environment that we experienced. This B+B is a special place. It was immaculately clean, walking distance to town, and an experience we will never forget! These are hosts who care about every detail. It's worth the trip to Wolfboro just for this B+B.

Room Tip: Room #3 was special

Donna and Steve,
Barbara and I appreciate your selection of our B&B. We both enjoyed having you as guests and all the great conversation about Wolfeboro and the surrounding area. Hope to see you both in the future.
Regards,
Bob and Barbara

"Beyond expectations" doesn't even touch it. The reviews are just a hint of how wonderful an experience awaits you as guests of the Barbara and Bob. Sart with a gracious old home that has been completely modernized, add elegant furnishings and very comfortable beds, stay in a room that has all the comforts of home plus some (they've been at this a while and know what pleases, plus having exquisite tastes themselves), have an excellent chef prepare a gourmet breakfast or two (each different, with choices), and if you're really lucky and time permits, enjoy scintillating conversations with both of them. Simply put, this is the best B and B in which we have ever stayed.

Room Tip: It matters not. There are only three. In our case, ground floor was nice only for the convenience.
