A nice, clean motel with a friendly, helpful staff. The location is beautiful! My wife and I had a relaxing stay enjoying the lake and nearby town. We definitely plan to return. A great value!

My husband and I do an August beat the heat trip. I booked this hotel because of the trip advisor ratings. We had a nice sized room, very clean. The best part was that all of the staff bent over backwards to make sure the stay was good for you. We stayed 6 nights. Ther's no wi-fi in the rooms, but easy to get on in the lobby. We met some nice people that way.
Also since the Motel is on a lake they offer free use of canoe's and kayaks. An extra plus. Rooms are all no smoking, and for us that is great. You can walk to the beautiful town of Wolfeboro.

I have to agree with the last reviewer but the owners were very nice to us. They don't take any pride in the place. We stayed in the Lake house and the room was decorated with no taste. The surroundings looked very run down from the beach area to in front of the Lake House. Chairs and signs on the ground. The owner who seemed very nice seemed very intent with the regulars and takes the location he has for granted. Again, they were nice but the property itself is just so so.. They are rebuilding the Motel so who knows.

Motel is older however the rooms are very clean and the location near the lake and town is very convenient. The staff is very friendly and helps with whatever you need. Owner Doug is very friendly and has a lot of knowledge about the area, always seems to want to make sure you are comfortable.
Plan to return.

We were looking for a pleasant place to stay for a few days in New Hampshire. On the site, the motel looked wonderful. There were pictures of the front of the motel and the rooms, which looked quite big. But in fact, the motel was run down and the rooms were very small. The website gave a huge misrepresentation of the place. It said that it had wi-fi availible so we brought our laptop. When we asked the lady at the front desk why the internet wasn't working, she said that there was only wireless internet service in the lobby and you could not use internet in your room. The pillows in the room were uncomfortable and not soft. The TV was very old in the room. Also we asked about the boats that were availible and they told us that we could not use the pontoon boat that was on the lake. Although on the website it said that we could. The people that worked there was unfriendly and rude. They made our stay very uncomfortable. Do not be fooled by what a delightful motel this looks like on their website. Do not stay at this hotel if you want to have a nice vacation.
