Tanks, jeeps, many old wartime pictures of NH native sons, dioramas of the era, even a victory garden, and a lot of history!

I brought my Dad here thinking it was a military museum of sorts, but discovered a much better place. We all know about the World War II--battles, history channel video---but this place is about America in the war. A complete shift.
There were propaganda posters about life during the war here and it was awesome.
My Dad went down memory lane remembering collecting tin and rubber, being reminded of posters and toys; and I just was amazed how much we sacrificed here.
There is a room of tanks, jeeps and weapons of course, but its the American life that really grabs you when you walk through. Come and visit--it was really a diamond in the rough.

The Wright Museum offers lectures on Tuesday nights on a variety of WWII topics. The speakers are impressive and the topics interesting.
