A colonial feeling in the bar and restaurant with good food and service. Each meal was beautifully presented and very tasty. My cousin and I had tuna that was served rare as we requested.

Because we hadn't seen each other in a number of years, our request for a slower pace of service was received happily and given. Many thanks!

Next time we are in Wolfeboro, we will once again stay at the Inn and dine in the Tavern.

Take a look at all of the mugs that hang over the bar!

Friendly and welcoming service throughout the Inn and Tavern.

My spouse and I visited on a Saturday evening. The tavern was busy but not overly crowded. We were seated promptly in a very suitable area. Service was good - drinks were delivered promptly and our orders were taken. Entrees were delivered hot and their presentation won us over....before the first bite! Both of us dined on seafood dishes and both were AMAZING. Simply excellent...wonderful flavor, fresh ingredients...just perfect! You have the option to add the "salad bar" to your entree....at $4. A bit high - they'd be better off to offer a side salad for $2-3 but, in the end, it was fine. Desert was also wonderful...just what we needed!

We had a great Sunday Brunch. We had delicous freshly made omelets and crispy and light Belian walffles with many extras at the buffet.

The bar was renovated within the past couple of years years. Very nice lakeside appointments, furniture and accessories. The lighting on the bar top is special. The In has retained some of the old feel (beer mugs hangoing in the rafters) while significantly moderninizing. Very nice renovation. There's one large and very unique table which appears as though it would seat a large party of 10 or 12 people.

We have dined at the Inn for twenty years. It has improved. The menu offers a broad range of choices. The moose head on the wall and the pewter beer tankards hanging from the beams make a nice addition to the ambiance. The Tavern is very reminiscent of an English pub. The burgers are very, very good as is Sunday brunch. We really like the place.
