Bet this place is beloved by locals as those on a first name basis with wait staff got served before we did. Once the staff did get coffee and meals, they were very friendly. Food was average and appropriately priced, I am now realizing that coffee and drinks are overpriced everywhere now. Staff seemed almost overwhelmed when the restaurant is at capacity. Would not go out of way to stop here again.

Service was excellent, menu with a great selection, and the food was delicious. What a nice surprise in a place not expected! Only down side was it was cash only. Much more convenient if credit cards were accepted.

We were staying at the resort up the street but didn't want to dress up and pay $$$ for dinner in their dining room . We found grandma's kitchen and went there. No dress code like the hotel. We ordered country chicken and it came with a small salad, mashed potatoes and gravy and corn. It was yummy. If I had to say anything negative it would be the rolls. They had no taste at all and if I had to compare them to anything it would be cotton batting. That said we enjoyed our meal and had the blueberry pie for dessert. This is no frills but you leave full with change in your pocket. I think mostly it's where the locals eat.

We stayed just up the road and stopped here for breakfast with a larger party, they were able to seat us with no problem. The breakfast was very good and the hostess did a great job keeping up with us. Good breakfast to start the day!
