“Family dinner cruise”
Reviewed June 29, 2013

Loved this! Kids under 13 with a paying adult eat and cruise free. The buffet was small but tasty. The night we went the cuisine consisted of dinner rolls, salad, mac and cheese(very tasty) a salmon or cod dish, turkey with dressing, roasted vegetables and another pasta dish. Coffee, iced tea, water were included as were chocolate chip cookies and brownies. There was a cash bar available for those looking for something a little stronger. The entertainment was geared towards younger children and I would have like to hear more history about the lake and islands we were seeing as we cruised.

“So relaxing and senic...”
Reviewed June 26, 2013

Recently on a very hot day I took a 2.5 hour cruise on The M/S Mount Washington on Lake Winnipesaukee Laconia, NH. It was so relaxing and the breeze off the lake provided relief from the heat and humidity on land. The homes/camps along the shore ranged from modest to OMG! Being early in the season it wasn't very crowded, mostly seniors who were on a bus tour. They were dear.
There are beverages on board. Water, soda, beer, wine, etc. Also snacks and a buffet were offered. There are 3 levels of indoor/outdoor seating. Many with tables. Some areas shaded, some full in the sun. The staff was very friendly. There is plenty of room to roam.
The narration was informative, but not intrusive to conversation.
Just understand...this is a 2.5 to 3 hour cruise. Young children may be bored. There are no games or children specific areas. The Hobo Train leaving from the same location may be a better choice...I saw lots of smiles and waves from children wearing balloon animal hats as they pulled out of the station and we pulled away from the dock.
So...go...I can't imagine you won't enjoy this ride!

“Its own world!”
Reviewed June 21, 2013

May be 70 degrees in town but MW was about 35. Only made it to the con rail. it was another 3 hours to the top. 1 hour up on train, and hour there and an hour back they told us. That's after we drove 2 1/2 hours to get to con rail. Maybe next year we will make it to the top. Elevation 6,288

A really cool boat on Lake Winnipesaukee, with two bars, three decks, and a neat cafe. Very relaxing trip!

“Great way to see lake winnipesaukee”
Reviewed June 8, 2013

No weather will challenge this boat. The ride is great - you see a lot and hear stories about the lake. Not that expensive - surely cheaper than renting a boat, and you don't have to worry about hitting a rock. The food onboard is so-so - but that is not what you go for.
