On our way back from North Conway we decided to stop at Weirs Beach for a cruise of Lake Winnipesaukee. This was our first time seeing the lake and we were amazed at its enormity. We left on the 11:00 boat and the cruise lasted 3 hours. We cruised to another port to pick up passengers and then headed back. They had a clown/magician on board to keep the kids entertained. They served food and cocktails and there were plenty of indoor/outdoor seats. The best part was seeing the gorgeous mountains and the beautiful homes along the lake. There was a narrated tour but it was difficult to hear. The boat was also very clean and classy. Great, relaxing time!

We had fun on our 2.5 hour ride on board the M/S Mount Washington. I was disappointed the buffet was not included considering how much they charge. The buffet was another $14 and not all that great. Historical points were announced over the intercom which made it more interesting. I took some great pics with my camera of the mountains surrounding the water. It wasnt bad but not all that great either.

We went on the M/S Mount Washington cruise this past Saturday night with a bunch of friends for an 80's Cruise. We are all in our 40's so this was perfect for us with the music, dancing, etc. All in all, it was a fantastic time. The dj lacked a lot of 80's music we requested which was a real bummer, but not too bad. There were great $5 specials on the drinks that contained a certain kind of liquor (promotion), plus we received free t-shirts. This is our 4th cruise and I finally decided to send in a tripadvisor. I am surprised that nobody has written a tripadvisor since 2011! The one downfall was that our friend was shut-off from drinking early into the cruise. This honestly did not matter because he had only had a couple of beers anyway. A couple of partypoopers decided to take it upon themselves to complain because he was squeaking his shoes on the dance floor and being annoying. Because of his height and inability to dance extremely well, he stuck out like a sore thumb. The person that shut him off never asked him to stop. He just told him that he could not drink any longer and proceeded to take his beer away that he had already purchased. There were no hard feelings but in a normal situation, someone with authority would look for an explanation or give a warning. Makes a funny memory and that's how we are looking at it. No bad feelings and we will DEFINITELY take another cruise. Note: We all purchased the tickets in advance at 50% off through the NH Dollar Saver. Fantastic deal! These cruises should be sold out because they are so much fun and when there's a theme, it's even better.

There is no other way to see the lake than on a boat. The cruise provided us with great views. Earlier riders took the cruise into Wolfboro, got off and explored, then got back on the later one. If we had known we would have done it that way.

The boat is top notch, clean, run with military precision. Safe, sound and beautiful! The narrated tours are wonderful, pointing out all the famous homes and the local history (and folklore). The Mountains are gorgeous (hike and few and find out, I did!).
