“kids had a ball”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 23, 2013

My grand daughter went to funspot with friends for her 4th birthday party. They all bowled a single string of candlepin bowling and then had tokens. So they went onto the rides and had a ball. Wonderful experience for all. And not very expensive. Shoes are free on Sunday.

“Arcademania!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 9, 2013

Great spot to take your children and pretty fun for adults as well. Has the first indoor minature golf game and a bazillion other indoor games to keep you and yours busy for HOURS! Go here and skip the skimpy arcade in Weir's Beach!

“Great place to visit for an hour or two on a cold or rainy day.”

There is an large 3 floor arcade, bowling alley, a little bar, and very mini mini golf. Nothing else to do in this area on a wet day in the Fall. My daughter loved it. Not bad.

“A little "tired", but still fun”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 9, 2013

If you don't mind the old-style arcades, this is definitely a fun place to stop if you're in the area. I would also recommend trying to find coupons in advance (check hotel lobbies, restaurants, convenience stores, their website, etc.).

Clearly this place has been around a long time and is a landmark, but I think that's half the charm of the White Mtns! There are a lot of older games like the putt-putt and the bumper cars that could use some updating. As you head downstairs you also get a whiff of the usual funky shoe odors from the bowling alley;) My kids got a little bored with the arcade games (but they're also only 4 and 6) and some things were quite loud.

But I must say we did have a lot of fun with the air hockey, skeetball and giant slot machine-type wheels. As expected, the prizes for tickets were pretty lame (a spider ring, 1 pencil, a sticker) There's tons of parking and you can't miss it on the main road. There's no charge to get in, but obviously you have to pay for tokens.

In spite of all that, I would still recommend this for a rainy day activity!

“All day fun!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 18, 2012

I grew up near this place and it is great. It is a huge building, so pace yourselves. Went from a little building with a few pinball games to the biggest fun center around. Tons of arcade games, new and best collection of retro games. There's also bowling, go-carts, mini-golf. You could really spend all day here. Great for the winter, but also close to the lake in the summer.
