For the end of the Pier on Weirs Beach you were really think that they would put some effort into a decent restaurant, instead you experience take out style dining where you recieve your food on a red plastic tray and seat yourself on a rundown dirty deck with falling apart tables. The view is unbeatable, but the food is horrendous. We ordered a basket of whole clams (no clam strips available anywhere in Weirs Beach) and the crab cakes. After ordering and paying via credit card nearly 30 dollars the kitchen then realizes they are out of whole clams. The cashier gave us an attitude about refuding our money pushing us to find something else on their pathetic menu. We finally were given cash back after insisting and nearly 30 minutes later recieved the most dissapointing "crab" cakes of our life. A mushy mound of baby shrimp, bread crumbs and pollack that tasted like they were microwaved, no sauce to accompany them, and a pile of shredded cabbage which was supposed to represent cole slaw. I understand that Central NH doesn't specialize in fresh seafood, but my God.. if thats the case try offering something else!
