“Have seafood elsewhere”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 21, 2012

Poorly prepared, overpriced and less than acceptable portion size. Smallest portion of steamed mussels that could be imagined. Multiple changes of wait staff for our table during a short meal. Head to the Maine coast for lobster or to the grocery store. Don't waste time and energy here.

“Nice but Pricey”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 28, 2012

We enjoyed dinner, but I did think the food was somewhat pricey. My husband ordered spaghetti and the serving was rather skimpy for $14. The food was good however. Kids items are $5 and there is a good selection on the menu.

“Lousy Lobster Pound”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 22, 2012

We used to go every summer to the lobster pound. This year it was not good. My food came out cold and it also looked like it was frozen vegatables. For the price we paid, we should have gotten more for our money.

“NEEDS MUCH IMPROVEMENT”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 3, 2012

We hadn't been here in a couple years so decided to give it a try. Upon entering the restaurant there was a STRONG paint ordor. We had wanted to sit in the bar area but the smell was so bad we asked to go into the dining room. Paper tablecloths...really?! A pretty pricey place and you can't afford tablecloths? There seemed to be only one waitress and we were only the second party to be seated in the dining room area. We got our drinks and ordered pasta dishes - the menu is very limited - maybe 10-12 entrees to choose. While waiting our waitress brought over a wooden cutting board with several types of bread, popovers and dipping oil - delicious - thank goodness because the meal left alot to be desired. My chicken broccoli pasta was very bland - sauce was definely NOT homemade. The chicken had a "off" taste - like it had been reheated or something and pasta was overcooked. Not impressed for a $15+ plate of pasta. Although our waitress is very pleasant, this place really needs a menu makeover or at least a "freshness" boost!! Don't think we'll be going back or recommending this place real soon. Too bad because they seem to have an awesome patio area with views of the lake.
