“Good Budget Hotel”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 6, 2012

Everything looks great now. They said it has extremely changed from what it was years ago.. Continental breakfast is a plus! Coffee, cereals, bagels, toasts, and pastries, yogurts and fruits as well. The lake is just across the hotel so the view is amazing. The price is relatively cheaper especially when its not the weekends prices can go down as low as 49 dollars on their small rooms, $79 on king rooms. They also accept AAA discounts. Located in the center of Tilton and Laconia.. near Tanger Outlets if you like shopping. Very good low-budget hotel if you just need a clean bed to sleep in, a good bathroom to clean yourself up and a decent breakfast to fill you in before you go to your next destination.

I do not usually stay at the Rodeways, but decided to try this one based on other positive reviews. I was pleasantly surprised and impressed. Nice location, clean, well appointed rooms. We stayed only one night, so did not access the beach area, but I am sure it is lovely as most things in this area are. I would suggest adding a soda vending machine on the property, for the convenience of guests, and the free bottled water in the room is a nice bonus. We would stay here again without any hesitation.

This is not your typical highway Rodeway. It is a modest sized property, most rooms with a view of Lake Winnisquam. The room was clean, and the manager quite accomodating. There were only two rooms being used so it was pretty quiet. The manager did go out of his way to provide a pretty wide variety of breakfast items.

Room Tip: All rooms on the southeast side face the lake.

Stayed for 2 nites during Columbus weekend - room was small but how much room do you need when you are only there to sleep! Good price and great breakfast - weather was wonderful so breakfast on the deck in October - what more could you ask for.

We were pleased to be able to find a motel that would let us stay for only one night in NH during the long holiday weekend during peak leaf viewing season. We weren't expecting much for the price, but were pleasantly surprised when we checked in. Yes the room was a little small, but it was very clean. The free breakfast offered a lot of items to choose from than most higher priced hotels. The manager was very pleasant and upgraded our room from a double bed to queen bed. The motel is located on a busy road, but he put us in the back upon our request and it was quiet. Close to Gunstock Mountain for a fraction of the price of other motels in the area. We had no complaints for the price we paid and would stay here again.

Room Tip: Ask for a room in the back.

A last minute trip on a holiday weekend. This is a laid back place.
Nothing fancy. Our room was a little small. The price was half the price of the fancy places.
Great view of the lake. Nice porch. After reading some of the reviews we were reluctant to stay here but to our surprise we found everything in order.

This hotel is awful, dirty and noisy. We arrived at 5:30 p.m. and our room wasn't still ready! They gave us another room... with an unfinished cup of coffee on the TV set, butts in the ashtray outside the room, no rates notice on the door, the table and the chairs on the balcony were very dirty, the bottom sheets were put on the wrong side on both beds...

Our room was just beside the manager's room. There was 5 or 6 empty beer cans next to his door, his dog was barking past midnight while he was having a fight with his wife or girlfriend. This manager, by the way, was looking more like the guru of a religious sect (short hair and a very very long beard) than a hotel manager. All that for $200. Avoid!!
