Owner description: Departing from Sunapee Harbor these narrated boat tours on Lake Sunapee are a great way to spend an afternoon. Relax in your deck chair and enjoy the beautiful scenery of Lake Sunapee while your Captain narrates the history, landmarks and lore of this crystal clear mountain lake. Known as the waters of the flying goose, the MV Mt. Sunapee has been sailing these waters for decades. Featuring an open-air top deck and a covered lower deck so whatever the weather you can cruises this approximately 10-mile long lake in comfort. See the magnificent homes that have sprung up around the lake. Pass by our three lighthouses that were once used to help the steam boats navigate these waters and are still in operation today guiding the pleasure boats at night. In the distance you can see Mt. Kearsarge and the ski trails on Mt. Sunapee.
Useful Information: Food available for purchase, Wheelchair access

Celebrated our 51st wedding aniversary with a lovely dinner with Capt Kara who was great at pointing out all the little settlements around the lake with a personal wave to many folks who obviously were friends. Great dinner with all you can eat buffet. We were on the MV Mt Sunapee which is the smaller boat with less congestion and a top open deck for site seeing vs the larger Mt Keararge Restaurant ship ( they use both ships on busy nights.)
Tip If you have all summer to decide when to take this trip, don't wait until it gets dark before you dock, as you see pretty lights, but miss some of the beautiful homes. But sunset was very pretty

Lovely little wooden boat with tables on 2 levels...sit up stairs, enjoy the view ....walk the exterior balcony as you cruise the beautiful shores of the lake. The food is served buffet style, lovely but limited wine menu. A treat and very affordable. This is a must do dinner experience in little Sunapee Harbor.
