This restaurant should be a stop on any trip through the area even if you aren't hungry. That being said . . . the food was fantastic. Polly's manages to be innovative even with simple breakfast foods. Everything was delicious and despite being a tourist attraction all onto itself, the prices were very reasonable. I've read about the long waits but we got there on the early side and had no trouble getting a table. You will not be sorry . . . . .

We visited Polly's Pancake Parlor on a Fri. morning (July 4th wknd) and called ahead when we got off the highway (we saw that suggested somewhere). They put our name on the list and at that point the wait was probably 25-30 min. We arrived around 11am and had a short wait which is when they explained that because there was only 2 of us, that they seat people together during busier times. Fine by us, but it turned out kind of strange. They seated us with a couple who sat next to each other so we were forced to sit the same way and directly across from them. No introductions, just lots of affection exchanged between them as this was their first wknd away as a new couple. Our waitress was great & it was cool to see her actually preparing our pancakes. The pancakes were decent and you could choose different batters (we liked the orig. best with blueberries), we just didn't think it was the best we've had and with the guy across from us groaning after each bite and the woman deciding it was fine to pull out her phone & call her dad, we kept thinking the candid cameras were going to come out. By the time we got our food, there were at least 3 empty tables so we just wish we could have gotten one of those. We realize our experience is probably an exception, and we are glad we got to try Polly's, but doubt we would go back.

This was not far from our hotel in Franconia, but it would have been worth a much longer drive! The selection and personalization of the pancakes was unique and delicious, and it was a great value as well. I love the option of the maple sugar on the table. Thank you for a delicious meal!

This quaint breakfast stop has lots of history and excellent breakfast food. Lots of healthy choices as well as regular breakfast entrees. Not to mention real maple syrup.I have been going here since the 70's and i have never had a bad meal.

On a recent trip through the area,we stopped at Polly's for breakfast. This place was so good the guys wanted to go back the next day even though it was 45 min in the opposite direction we were heading. Day two was worth the hour and a half round trip. with six guys we sampled most of the menu and everything was great.
