“Love this place!”
Reviewed October 10, 2013

Love the pancakes here. The staff is very nice and always attentive. We live locally and treat ourselves to breakfast here whenever we can. The view is one of the best in the area. When we have eaten here our bacon has never been overcooked or cold. The pancakes are the consistency that pancakes should be and my eggs have always been prepared the way I have ordered them. We make reservations and don't have to wait when we get there. If you are in the area, you should give Polly's a try!

“You'd think there would be more options at a Pancake Parlor”
Reviewed October 6, 2013

You think there would be more pancake options at a place that calls itself a Pancake Parlor. After waiting 90 minutes for a table I was so disappointed at the limited pancake choices. There were five choices for batter (not important to me), but when it came to "add-ons" there were only blueberries, walnuts, cocoanut, or chocolate chips. And the special of the day was pineapple, which seemed totally out of place in October. I would have loved pumpkin or pecan pancakes or pancakes with apples and cinnamon on top. Even banana pancakes would have been nice.

The menu has way more choices for sandwiches than it does for pancakes. Maybe it should be renamed Polly's Sandwich Shop?

Service was very good but prices seemed high.

“Interesting Pancakes but..........”
Reviewed October 6, 2013 via mobile

Very flavorable pancakes but not worth a 2 hour wait-------or 1/4 hour wait for that matter. We ate there mid-week around 10am and found it to be rather noisy with the place about 1/2 full. Food was rather pricey. Enjoyed the variety of pancakes but will be eating at a local-oriented place next time.

“Average at best”
Reviewed October 6, 2013

We stopped here by the recommendations of our hotel owner. Due to the business witch we did not mind we were sat with two lovely local women. One who works at Mt Washington. It was their first time at Polly's too. By thier words it won't be anytime soon for their return. they handle the crowds very well. Pagers to let you know your table is ready. The atmosphere is as country as you can. Out of four people at our table only one was satisfied with his food. I ordered the muffin of the day Apple cinnamon. I didn't taste the apple or the cinnamon. Eggs over cooked, but this is a pancake house. Both of the local guest at our table were very disappointed and have no idea why the raves. They directed us bikers to another place in North Conway if we want much better.

“They queue here for a table”
Reviewed October 4, 2013 via mobile

If you like pancakes, this is the place. Open from 7am - 3pm. All types of pancake, with fruit or bacon etc. delicious maple pecan cheesecake. Busy and noisy but worth it.
Pay a visit to Harman's Cheese shop just up the hill from here. Get some vacuum packed cheese to take home.
