Description: The Restaurant at Sunset Hill is an award winning Chaine des Rotisseurs Restaurant with 7 Wine Spectator Awards of Excellence. Under the direction of internationally acclaimed Chef de Cuisine Brill Williams, you'll enjoy classics and local products, and the best views in New England. Of course virtually everything we offer is made in house and prepared to order (with the exception of a few desserts which are made by a wonderful pastry chef!). The quality of such painstaking work is evident from Chef's incredible sauces and soups, to our hand-trimmed meats. The Restaurant at Sunset Hill offers a la carte and prix fixe ($52 for 5 courses) menus 6 days a week (daily during summers and holidays). Guests rave about our food, are amazed by the view, but the thing they comment on most is the caring service. There is no pretension here at Sunset Hill - just 'real people' who care about your experience. For more casual fare, try our New Hampshire Tavern - a great place to relax!

“The White Mountain Views Equals the Special Dinner”
Reviewed April 24, 2014

For a milestone birthday weekend, we ate here & also stayed at the Inn. What a treat to watch the sunset while sitting at one of the picture windows. It was on a Sunday night in mid November so it was not busy at all...better for us to get undivided attention! Also, the made to order breakfast selections (that came with the price of our room) was simply amazing....all prepared by the owner (the wife, of course!).

“Very nice, great view and food, but a bit spendy”
Reviewed October 14, 2013

Very quiet, great window front view. The soup de jour (squash, cream.etc) was excellent. The quail, while new preparation for me, spice-wise, was also very good. My wife had the New York strip! medium, and while she found the pepper sauce a bit spicy, I tasted it and loved it.

Wine by-the-glass Cabernet was ok.

“Tavern Dining”
Reviewed October 8, 2013

We had a lovely dinner here. My husband had a burger from the tavern menu, and I was able to order from the restaurant menu. I had an exquisite baby lettuce and beet salad with goat cheese (superb) and an excellent potato-encrusted salmon entrée. We shared the special ice cream dessert--delicious.

“A surprise on the hill”
Reviewed August 18, 2013

Brill, the chef, is very creative and the tastes are fantastic. The quality is what you would expect in the big city with a higher price tag. Howard as the waiter completed the experience. Witty, charming and adapts the needs of party. Fine dining in the true sense of the phrase.

“Very impressed!”
Reviewed August 3, 2013

We are new to the area and have been trying different dining options. Tonight we had a $25 restaurant.com gift certificate and dined at this beautiful inn. We will definitely be back. There is a $60 fixed price menu which includes 6 courses, appetizer, salad, sorbet, entree, cheese plate and dessert. Also ala carte entrees in the $30-$35 range and the whole table does not have to pick the same option. The entrees are generous portions and all of us enjoyed our meals. We had one fixed price and two entrees and it was a lot of excellent food. The meal is not rushed allowing time to rest between courses and enjoy the spectacular view. Definitely recommend stopping here if you are in the area and willing to pay for some fine cuisine.
