This was our first visit to the NE part of the country. We spent the weekend in Boston and were ready to hit the countryside. We had Markey's recommended to us. The building was a little disappointing, but the food was fabulous. We got the lobster, steamed clams, and a fried choice consisting of clams, scallops, and they changed out the halibut for shrimp. The lobster was scored so all the extra water was drained out. My son devoured the clams saying they were excellent. The fried selection was light and crisp - delicious!!! We wanted to visit again before we headed home, but the route didn't work out. The only deterrent was that it was cash only, which we didn't know about. Luckily we had the cash to pay for it.
