From the moment we arrived and were greated by the Host and their family it was just magnificent! John and Cindy really take pride in their Bed and Breakfast and offer such a warm and pleasant experience in Hospitality! We had a wedding celebration at the Gazebo and they made the event so warming! Paddle boat ride on the lake, Breakfast meals were one of a kind specialty that just melted in your mouth. Gorgeous Porch to just relax. It was my first time at a Bed and Breakfast and me and my Fiance like to have a good time, so I was a little worried but they welcomed all the guest the same and didn't judge anyone! Last weekend was my cousin's wedding their, but Mine and Cindy's might be there soon as well, because we loved the place!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Room Tip: Rooms are not airconditioned so they get a little warm in the summer but it also is what makes it so...

Thanks so much for your kind words. We had a lot of fun with the wedding, and I will always remember my first fore into being a wedding photographer.

Just for clarity, we do have a number of rooms that ARE air conditioned. They are Sunrise Lake, Sunset Lake, Opechee Lake, and the Lake Solitude Suite.

We look forward to welcoming you all back for your wedding if that works out!

We had a wonderful stay at the Lake House! The home is beautiful, has a lovely spacious porch overlooking the lake, a small beach, a gazebo, boats and a small beach to enjoy the water (sit on on top kayaks, row boat, paddleboat). The water in the lake is super clear and a great temperature for swimming - refreshing but not too cold even in the early morning. Went for a sunset and a sunrise paddle - there is a nice inlet along the shore to the north.

Inside, the rooms are all different and lovely - the site has good descriptions. The dining room is sunny, and they have a Keurig machine so you can help yourself to fresh coffee, tea, hot chocolate or cider at any time. The breakfasts were fantastic! I had to take pictures to remember them (not something I normally do)...

There is a lot to do in the area, wish we could have stayed longer. We went to see the local theatre's production of On Golden Pond - a very moving and funny play -- highly recommend it. http://www.unionleader.com/article/20120703/NEWHAMPSHIRE09/707049967 (We learned that the movie was filmed on the lake to the north... the author of the play is in the play). There is great hiking nearby, John and Cindy can recommend where to go based on your interests. Also wanted to check out the Shaker Village, Loon Center, Flume Gorge, and more.

John and Cindy are so friendly and gracious, and really care about their guests. We look forward to returning !

We had a short but sweet stay at The Lake House at Ferry Point - one night - and highly recommend it. We were on the third floor, which had a huge window and spectacular view of Lake Winnisquam. It was also one of the bigger rooms from what I saw of the available rooms. Everything was very clean and welcoming. The innkeepers, John and Cindy, were very friendly. There are kayaks and a canoe available for use by the guests - we love to kayak and it's a beautiful lake. Cindy gave us some dinner recommendations and we went to a place called Onions (excellent salmon). The breakfast was delicious - cheese blintz with blueberries on top (I think). We don't visit this area of New Hampshire often, but we enjoyed our stay here and would stay here again.

Room Tip: Third floor room with the lake view

My husband and I have stayed in B&Bs all over the country and rate the Lake House at the top of our list. The lakeside view is breathtaking, the inn is outstanding, breakfast is top notch, and John/Cindy are so hospitable & treat their guests like royalty! We absolutely loved everything about our stay and definitely plan to return. Very highly recommend it for a wonderful New Hampshire stay. Imelda Castro

Our stay at The Lake House at Ferry Point was perfection!! Our beautiful room, the amazingly delicious breakfast, all accomodations, the inn keepers... nothing could have been improved upon. We have stayed at several B&B's in the New England area & this is just first class. We also spent some time in nearby Meredith NH, a beautiful town on Lake Winnepisiakee (sp??), so it's near by other great places to visit. Ferry Point is a great escape for couples but would be equally fun for a family to enjoy the breathtakingly beautiful lake w/ fishing/canoeing/paddle boating. Will be returning in the Fall...can't even how beautiful it'll be then.

Room Tip: All room are beautiful, but the room we stayed in on the 3rd floor with the bank of 3 windows was sp...

I had seen the photos on the website, but seeing this fabulous, clear lake live is amazing! The grand porch overlooks Lake Winisquam and Ferry Point. I'm not one much for sitting still, but this is a great place to do it. The sun glints off the lake, the breeze blows away your cares (and any heat). We took out kayaks, and the paddleboat and swam at the beach (wear your water shoes, there are nice lake rocks in there).

We stayed four days. There were four tasty breakfasts, a tour of Sqaum Lake (i.e. On Golden Pond fame) a trip to the Flume Gorge and more.

Cindy and John are great hosts, warmth, great food and a friendly way. We enjoyed sitting on the grand porch, on the point and in the parlor.

This is a good one.

Room Tip: Most rooms have an amazing lake view. The rooms in the back will be away from the street.

I can't recommend this place enough. The Becker's, John and Cindy go out of their way to make sure your stay is comfortable. My husband and I have stayed at other B&B's and I have to say this was one of the best. We felt welcomed from the very beginnig. There was a basket of local goodies in our room along with some of the things people tend to forget, toothbrush, razor, etc. We were welcomed back to our room on our second night with a plate of chocolate covered strawberries. What a nice treat! And John surpasses himself with the breakfasts. Make sure to bring your appetite! We had a berry parfait, followed by a spinach and feta cheese quiche with more fresh fruit and a large slice of ham. The next morning were some fabulous pancakes (Cindy's recipe) and then a cheese omelet with salsa and to top it off warm sauteed strawberries with cream. No lunch for us either day! Cindy is an accomplished artist and is thinking of doing a special package with art classes. I can't wait!!! We definetly felt at home, sitting on the porch before dinner, going across the street to sit in the gazebo and kayacking on the lake. We are planning a trip back in the fall/winter. Kudos to great inn keepers!!! Kathi

Room Tip: It's hard to say which is the best room. We stayed in the Wentworth with views of the beautiful...
