“Quaint and great tasting”
Reviewed June 1, 2014

For a local winery Hermit Woods is excellent. They combine many of the local flavors to make some unique wines. We bought some to keep in our private collection. They have moved to new quarters in Meridith and now have locally made articles (wine related) that add more offerings. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and very friendly, willing to answer any of your questions. We had a very enjoyable and tasty visit.

“A Unique Winery”
Reviewed October 23, 2013

We did the tasting with the smaller glasses for $3 each (though they waived the tasting fee when we bought two bottles and mentioned that it was our honeymoon). I like sweeter wines so my favorite was the port-like Deep Blue. Most of the wines are drier fruit wines (apple, blueberry, kiwi berry, etc.). Definitely a unique experience!
