I was not impressed stayed at here for 1 night I was supposed to stay for 2 but decided against it. I couldn't sleep because the room had a horrible animal urine smell. I called the front desk and the person wad rude. TAKE MY ADVICE DON'T STAY HERE.

Stayed for 2 nights - had the king room, handicapped access w/roll in shower for my husband. Nice, clean room, good sized bathroom that was definitely made for someone with disabilities, not one of those ones where they slapped a few handles here and there on a regular room, and it really was a roll-in shower. Some of those have been falsely advertised at other hotels.

Microwave & fridge came in handy, courteous staff, comfortable bed at a good rate, in a hotel not too far from Boston, and good restaurants close by. What more could you ask?

The Red Roof in Salem, NH is a no frills, budget friendly place to go when all you need is a comfortable, clean place to sleep. Our room came with both a microwave and frig, which is more than some higher price hotels/motels give you ! Although they don't offer breakfast, there is free coffee available round the clock ! The staff is courteous, friendly and attentive to your needs. It is conveniently located off the highway and close to restaurants, gas, stores and a mall.

Just returned from my fourth stay to the Red Roof Salem in two years and have yet to be disappointed with the property. The front desk and staff have been very accommodating throughout my stays. I request a room with two beds and they are always roomy, clean, soundproof.and quite comfortable. I have stayed at a number of properties in the Boston metro area and regard this as one of the best kept secrets. This property is a great value for those looking to stretch their their bucks without sacrificing comfort.

If your looking for a place to stay that is inexpensive, close to Boston, located near great places to eat, and is quiet, I would recommend the Red Roof Inn off of exit 2 of interstate 93 in Salem, NH. The hotel is 45 minutes from the Boston scene following 93 south directly. For food and nightlife, less than a quarter of a mile is one of the best hot spots around called Margaritas. The age group varies so from young adult and up all would find this restaurant comfortable. I've stayed at this Inn a number of times and have alwaysed enjoyed my stay.
