We went out on an early Saturday morning . We had company from Arizona, there first time whale watching. The sail out was slightly rough, they captain did warn us. Once we reach the destination to view the whales it was spectacular. Unfortunate for some Individuals they were sea sick, not pleasant for some of us to watch but it does happen. We saw 4 whales and they performed for us, quite the show.

We wanted to catch a few whale sightings and this tour/trip seemed to be a good fit for us. We chose Granite State Whale Watching Tours and we were not disappointed. We have been on other trips that featured chasing whales, but this tour seemed to know right where the whales were frolicking around. Whales a plenty and great camera/photo moments that will be with us the rest of our lives.

We went after a storm so there was a great number of whales on the surface. It seemed no matter where you were on the boat you could see at least three different groups of humpback at different distances! It was awesome.

Had a fantastic experience seeing humpback minke and fin whales. Our neighbors also enjoyed hundreds of dolphins. Very knowledgeable guides.

We lucked out day we went. The naturalist -and I quote- said that our excursion was "very rare" and" insanely incredible". We had 3 humpbacks constantly breaching and slamming their flippers. A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!

Our 4 hour cruise more than met our expectations. We hung out for a long time with a pod of 70 dolphins who were swimming all around and under the boat. It was so great seeing how playful they are. We saw 8 whales! The first 2 were just resting quietly in the water and allowed us to stay right next to them. The next group of 2 females and a calf were much more active, and we got to see them bring their tails up and slap the water as they dove close to the boat. We also saw 2 minke whales just cruising by. The information shared about the whales was quite interesting and informative. We even learned the whales names. I would highly recommend this trip for all ages!

We enjoyed this experience so much! The crew were friendly, helpful and very educated about the whales. We saw 3 different types of whales (10 total whales), 210 some dolphin and a harbor seal. This is a must see for marine animal lovers.

We boarded boat in Rye Harbor at around 8:30am. Roughly a 4 hour tour, depending on where(if) they find Whales. This tour has a high success rate and we as whalewatch tourists have had a zero success rate( having been on several in Mexico). Who would win? After an hour and a half of several false alarms we hit paydirt. Seeing first a pod of dolphins, then, a fin whale(60 footer), the 3 Humpbacks( a mom and baby, and another female, 15 to 40 feet each) all semi sleeping. Then more dolphins, more fin whales, and another humpback, all in the same view. Amazing. The mom humpback and baby layed and showed one of their find. Quite a day. Highly recommended.
