When first checking in after a long ride, no one was at the desk for about 15 minutes. Once someone finally showed up, we were given our keys and headed up to our room. Very thin walls and able to hear the thirty year olds partying in the room next door. Vending machines on floors 2 and 4 were out of many things. Easy checkout in the morning and a short drive to downtown Portsmouth for breakfast on a Sunday morning

So what do you want for $99 per night. The rooms are clean, new flat screen TV, meeting room clean and comfortable. My only complaint would be the bathrooms are the smallest i have ever seen. Ask to sign up for the Key Club and you will get $99 per night.

The hotel lobby is very clean and welcoming with nice decor. The check-in process was quick and with a smile. From there it went downhill. For starters the rooms need the same upgrade that lured us into the front of the building. The bathroom is tiny. You cant sit on the toiler and expect to close and open the door. There is no space. The tub needs to be re-done. It had chips and cracks. The wallpaper looks like its been re-patched on. For the amount of money we paid, it was not a very good value. Finally, this property does not offer free breakfast, instead they have a restaurant with inflated prices fo lunch and breakfast. No thanks.

Stayed in this hotel while visiting Portsmouth NH for the first time. Pricey ($156.00 includes taxes) Holiday Inn for the location. Caters more to travelers stopping along Route 95. You can not walk to the center of town from this location which would have been nice. The room had the usual too noisy air conditioner, mediocre shower, uncomfortable bed; but the most difficult was the way too small bathroom. Bedroom could have been smaller and given that extra room to the bathroom. Ask for a room that does not face the highway, trucks going by all night. Nothing was above average....including the staff. Disappointed since it is a newer Holiday Inn.

Room Tip: Stay at the rear of the building, not the side facing Route 95. We were on the 5th floor and it was...

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. After a bad experience at a HIE (in South Portland, ME) this place was a welcome change. Very courteous and helpful staff and the food was great. No complaints for the three nights we stayed there.

Room Tip: Be sure to visit Strawberry Banks in Portsmouth--pretty cool.

We stayed in two bed room. room size is moderate and seems run a bit small. interior is not as new as its facade but condition is fine. if you want to have small town charm, this place probably can't offer. but the location is not far from its downtown and easy access to highway.

We used this hotel as a pit-stop on the way up to Acadia National Park. It was a reasonable price (under the Senior Rate).

Our room was fine. Because we were three, I slept on the airbed provided, which was fine, but squeaky of course.

There was no fridge in our room which was a bit annoying.

The pool was fine for splashing about in, though the changing rooms were miles away.

The nearby Diner was really nice for dinner.

Breakfast ought to be included, but wasn't.

Basically, overall it was fine.
