Thanks to Trip Advisor I knew to look for this restaurant. My husband and I came to Portsmouth for a wedding and actually ended up having breakfast and lunch here before the festivities. For breakfast the egg, bacon and cheese sandwich and the Monte Cristo with fruit were yummy. The coffee was outstanding and fun in the funky large cups. At lunch the best thing was the freshly brewed, loose leaf ice tea. It was the best we have ever had which tells you something about their attention to details. Like other reviewers I thoroughly enjoyed the Greek salad in a popover. My husband loved the gorgonzola and pear salad in a popover. We each ordered the small size which was plenty (especially after having breakfast there). It was also nice to sit outside on a beautiful September afternoon. A nice extra was a lovely young lady who assisted with seating and cleaning up outside. Definitely try this place for a meal or tea/coffee and one of there many baked goods for a treat.
