The menu is creative, food very good, atmosphere festive, and service not attentive. To qualify the service it was very clear the large groups were attended to often while we were left sucking on our melting ice. I am willing to try again as it may have been the one server, though, with the many options who knows when that shall happen.

After reading reviews here we were anticipating a great experience when we went to Rudi's for a birthday dinner. Upon entering we waited in the front bar area for everyone to arrive. The bar was lovely, with a variety of comfortable seating and a great ambience. Service was excellent. After being seated in the main restaurant room we were greeted by our server Erin and were very impressed. All six of us thought she was the best server we had met in a long while, if ever. She was personable, very knowledgeable about the menu items and drinks and eager to please. We knew we were in good hands and settled in for a fun night. There was a jazz duo playing background music and this added to the ambience. The bread, starters and salads were good. In contrast the mains were poor. Out of the six, three of us were unhappy with the quality of our plates. Of the three who ordered New Zealand lamb, two had to be returned for further cooking. One of these took so long the rest of the table had finished eating by the time he got it back. Extremely disappointing since two of us are from NZ. My risotto tasted strongly of butter and was a strange texture - not creamy at all. I left more than half of it behind. We did not have dessert. Another disappointment was that the tip (a standard 20%) was included in the tab. I find this presumptuous and at first it caused us some confusion until the server pointed it out. We ended up tipping her 30% for her wonderful service.

I have been to this restaurant twice. Both times the meals were okay, nothing outstanding. I expect a bit more at 25.00 to 30.00 an entrée. If you're paying 28.00 for a steak it should be pretty good but the ribeye was a little on the tough side and not very flavorful. I get better steaks at my local butcher shop. The atmosphere is nice and the service was pretty good. Would probably rate them higher if the prices were more in line with what they are serving.

We arrived 1.5 hours early for a 7:30. The restaurant was fairly empty so we figured no problem.
The hostess, dismissive and inexperienced, said we could have a seat at the bar...
We decided that was not going to cut it, we didn't drive all the way from Boston to be seated at a bar in a small town restaurant in NH especially when the restaurant was empty. We informed the hostess that we would not be staying and suddenly their was a table available. The table we were given was not great considering the availability throughout the restaurant. The wait staff was very nice although quite new and not well trained for an expensive restaurant.
The food was good, not outstanding but no complaints. The hostess in our direct view from our table was hunched over flipping through magazines and iphone the entire time, not surprising as the restaurant never filled up. When we left, she and a coworker didn't make contact, never said thank you, never said good night. I have two words for this place Good Bye.

Went on Sunday for brunch and had an enjoyable experience. Good food, good service,
good music, good cocktail. It was a bit pricey but that was probably due to the beverages. The menu choices were limited it you didn't want
an egg dish. Overall, worth checking out and I would go again.
