We spent about $50 on a late lunch for the two of us today. The food (appetizer, beer n salmon with 2 sides) was not the best we ever had but it filled us up sufficiently for our walk over to Annabellas for icecream. The ambience of the Blue Mermaid was great. We liked the view from the desk and the interior decor as well. The music contributed to a unique (Carribean) island feeling. Good chouce of songs. Overall it was a relaxing lunch.

Warning....the salsa is addicting and one that you won't get anywhere else - so yummy. The menu is really different but nice for a change. I think they put a nice spin on their entres and there are lots of choices for sides and sauces...something to please everyone with you.

Blue Mermaid is a good place to stop in for a beer and a bite to eat. They have trivia I believe on Monday nights. I went here while on a business trip. bartenders were very friendly which made for good atmosphere.

This place was perfect for some weary travelers, the night we arrived. Food was very good, drinks were strong and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Menu is chock-full of inventive dishes. Rachael Ray loves it and you will too!
