“A great find”
Reviewed October 1, 2013 via mobile

This restaurant (craft beer café) is a great find for the beer lover, especially one who also appreciates great food. The staff is super friendly, accommodating, knowledgeable about beer and food pairings and eager to please. The beers are simply unavailable anywhere else. The cheese and meat antipasto appetizer is phenomenal. The burger and truffle fries are perfect with a craft beer. Check it out. I love this place.

“Every beer lover should find this place!”
Reviewed July 13, 2013

WHYM is tucked away off of Route 1 in Portsmouth a few miles from downtown. It was a little tough to find but it was worth driving around for a minute. The atmosphere is great - awesome background music (they had the blues playing last night) and a great vibe. The decorations are tasteful and the setup was neat with the bar a step up from everything else.

The staff were very knowledgeable and loved to talk about the beer they had on tap and in bottles. They had an impressive bottle list that they are continuing to expand.

The food was delicious, too! We shared the Belgian frites (hand-cut fries) and the buffalo chicken fritter. The frites came with two dipping sauces: soy chili mayo and horseradish ketchup. Both were delicious. We ordered the buffalo chicken fritter spicy and it was excellent. The homemade buffalo sauce was complimented well by a pile of sauteed greens and a tasty bleu cheese sauce.

As a Portsmouth resident, I am excited to have found this hidden gem and will definitely go back!
