“Relaxed, uncomplicated dining.”
Reviewed March 17, 2013 via mobile

Visited this restaurant on a recent business trip to Portsmouth. I headed there with a few colleagues for a relaxed, unpretentious meal and I have to say i had a great time.
Whilst it was relatively quiet on our visit - it was a Tuesday evening - it had a good vibe. Our table ordered a shared starter of nachos, spinach and cheese washed with a few glasses of wine. I had the Jamaican jerk chicken quesadillas, which not spectacular, they were tasty and presented as a sensible sized portion.
I would suggest that this place is a great venue for relaxed, family dining - or a place for friends to eat informally.
Service was attentive, with the waitress remembering drink orders for refills in the perfect combination of unobtrusiveness but attentiveness.

“Great deck, but if you can, head upstairs!”
Reviewed March 16, 2013

There is a new outdoor deck area on the ground level, but if you are looking for a quiet place to enjoy a pitcher of sangria and enjoy the coconut chicken (so good), head upstairs and get a seat with a view in the outdoor seating that gets much less utilized. This place is one of my favorites in town.

“Nice river views, good drinks and eats!”
Reviewed January 28, 2013

We've been here a few times, and it's the combination of lovely harbor views (from the deck), summery drinks, and generally good food that keeps us coming back. Poco's is good for a casual and fun dinner, especially in a group -- the nachos as an app are great to share.

“Phenomenal Service, Cozy Atmosphere”
Reviewed January 14, 2013

I met a friend in the downstairs bar for some after work drinks and food. There was a fire going near the bar, and a few people scattered at tables. The bartender was incredibly sweet and accomodating. He gave us suggestions on drinks and food, and catered to our every wish. He was very personable and welcoming. The food was just okay, nothing special, but I will definitely go back again and again because of the service.

“Go for drinks.”
Reviewed January 3, 2013

The food is adequate but you'll definitely get your money's worth when ordering margaritas. Two should be enough to have you wobbling out the door. The bar downstairs is cozy but one of the amusing things about this place has to be the astoundingly HORRENDOUS collection of bad music this one bartender insists on torturing the clientele with. It's so bad it's actually funny. If you're a fan of songs like 'We Built This City' and 'Push It' then this is the place for you.
