“Beautiful Historic Home a few steps from Downtown Portsmouth”

Governor John Langdon House
Ranked #27 of 68 things to do in Portsmouth
Attraction details
Reviewed September 18, 2012

We had the pleasure of following in George Washington's footsteps this past weekend. If you are someone who likes visiting historic old homes, this is one of the nicest ones in Portsmouth. It is the home of a colonial entrepreneur who was one of the founding fathers of New Hampshire. The house is impressive, and so are the gardens. It is a quick tour (less than an hour) but worth the visit.
