“Take it for what it is”
Reviewed March 23, 2013

Clean, quiet atmosphere...kind of a strange place. It can be loud after 5 on Fridays with the Pease workers. It can also be a morgue. Service is friendly at times, not so-much so on other occasions. The menu has been revamped many times thru the years, which isn't a good sign. You'd expect it to be better, but some items are decent....no way that I would call anything out of this world that you can't get at a better value some where else. Good quiet place to reserve your own pool table, or grab your own TV and take in a game. It could be a great sports bar, but you need to ask every time while they find a certain game despite having satellite (NFL package) and also realize that New Hampshire is a sleepy place and where a passionate college sports atmosphere is non-existent and March Madness is unfortunately an afterthought.

“Decent food, poor service.”
Reviewed March 17, 2013

We had dinner with a very large group at Paddy's last night. Thought we might get our own room, but we just had a section that was a little tight. The food was pretty good (but ours was not particularly hot when we got it).

The service was 2 stars. It took a very long time for them to take our order...then a very long time for them to deliver the meals. It also took a long time for them to clear our dishes (we sat looking at them for quite a few minutes). I asked a waitress to clear them, but I felt she brushed me off.

Also, keep an eye on your check, we were overcharged $1 on atleast one item.

I think if you go with a smaller group, you might enjoy the experience.

“Best wings in the area”
Reviewed February 2, 2013 via mobile

Paddys has had it's ups and downs but it seems to be on an upswing again. Just enjoyed the most authentic chicken wings in the sea coast (yea, I've tried them all). And you can never go wrong with the French dip. Not my favorite beer selection but, as with the rest of the menu, it's best to keep it simple.

“Average Irish Bar, with Mexican entrees”
Reviewed November 26, 2012

Food was pretty good for an Irish bar Walkable to Marriott Residence Inn. Had some Mexican entrees (tacos) also, which were pretty tasty. The Shephard's Pie was excellent! Atmosphere was nice, and service was excellent.
