“Great food in a quaint location”
Reviewed May 11, 2012

Great place to eat. The bagels are fresh, piled high with cream cheese, onions, lox, capers, and tomatoes. The coffee is terrific also. My son loves the build your own sandwich. Nice place to hang out as well, with good atmosphere. We travel to Portsmouth once a year and this is a must while there.

“Excellent Lunch spot to enjoy springtime weather!”
Reviewed March 27, 2012

While enjoying some of the unseasonably warm weather in New Hampshire, we stopped by this restaurant - mainly because we wanted to try something with outdoor seating that is in the sunshine for lunch (unlike restaurants on the other side of the street, which are in the shade at lunch).

We were surprised and pleased that not only were we able to enjoy the sunshine, but the food is fantastic - and super healthy. No additives and preservatives, just good. You can modify any of the sandwiches (have them as a wrap, on bread, on toasted bread, or as a panini). Their fruit smoothies are great and filling as well - and I was pleased to watch REAL FRUIT going into the blender - no syrupy substitutions here!

Insider's tip: grab a punch card by the register on your way out, and work your way towards a free drink or a free sandwich - I know our punch card will be filled up in no time!

Also - they are very dog-friendly here, even gave us a water bowl to take outside for our pups to use while we were eating.

Our service was VERY FAST, the atmosphere was fine (nothing fantastic, but comfortable), and the food was a little on the pricey side - but definitely what one would expect for organic/healthy food. Wraps can easily be split by 2 people, as they are generous portions, to help keep costs down. Highly recommend!!!

“Horrible customer service - We won't be back!”
Reviewed December 15, 2011

The attitude of the employees and management is horrific! They act as if they are doing a favor by waiting on you. When we spoke to the manager about the lousy service and attitudes, his was even worse! Guess it just all trickles down, doesn't it.
Instead of getting horrid service from these folks I will just walk across the street to Popovers...

“It's now called 'The Works'”
Reviewed October 4, 2011

First time we went there for a quick sandwich lunch, we enjoyed it - I had the Dagwood, my wife had the Artichoke panini. They were very good, a little slow on the delivery, where youwait, cafeteria-style. Tables are very crowded together.

We went again 2 weekends ago and my wife had the Artichoke panini again and I chose the Super Chicken panini.
This time we were both disappointed. My chicken had no flavor to it, other than what appeared to be thousand-island dressing slathered over the whole thing. The Artichoke panini was nothing like the first time - perhaps they had a bland batch of pesto.
