An OK facility a bit hard to find off the main street in a developing shopping area. Near the outlet mall at Kittery. Nice breakfast.
Well located for day trip along the coast through Maine.

We were trying to find a place in Kittery Maine, but the few hotels there were full. Luckily this Hampton Inn still had room and was only 10 minutes away. It was a little hard to locate, as it's set well back off of an unlit side road, near a construction site for a future mall.

Clean room, nice indoor pool and hot tub, friendly staff. Breakfast was excellent. Will definitely plan on staying here next time we travel down the coast.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for two nights over Memorial Day Weekend in a King room. My brother-in-law, his spouse and 2 young kids stayed one night in a room with two queens. We had anticipated the usual good Hampton experience and were not disappointed.

They had a full house on Saturday night and at the Sunday morning free buffet breakfast the place was packed. Somehow the friendly staff were able to keep things running smoothly however. It was a typical Hampton breakfast - completely adequate. There was also a happy hour in the evening which we did not attend.

We had a brand new flat screen TV in our room as well as a jacuzzi tub. My brother-in-law's room had neither the flat screen nor the jacuzzi. None-the-less they were fine with the room and the kids enjoyed the hotel's uncrowded pool and hot tub.

The hotel is located right off the highway and as the above poster pointed out, there is construction in the area so arrival is by dirt road - it didn't create much of a problem though. By staying in this location rather than in downtown Portsmouth (5-10 minutes by car), we saved a few bucks on our hotel rate and did not have to spring for parking.

All in all a pleasant stay.

This is a pretty standard Hampton Inn. I stay at Hampton's 1-2 days per week. This place was clean but will need a renovation in a few years.

The shuttle picked us up at the airport and we had to drive on a VERY bumpy road that leads to the hotel as their doing some major construction right next door. Nothing was happening...so it was quiet.

The pool here is pretty nice and they have the typical Hampton Inn breakfast .

I stayed here for one night over the MLK day weekend, it was a very nice hotel with a great indoor pool & jacuzzi. The room was clean and spacious, and the staff was responsive, they sent the maintenance guy up right away after we called because I had managed to blow out the power on the heat control with static electricity. The best time to go to the pool/jacuzzi is in the morning before you check out, since most guests were busy getting ready to leave, we had the pool/jacuzzi all to ourselves! I'd definitely stay here agin.

Stayed at this Hampton Inn in Feb. 2008 after having good experience with this hotel in prior years. Booked 2 connecting rooms for 3 person party. Got a great rate using AAA discount. Rooms and Lobby recently updated.
Rooms were clean, comfortable and quiet.
Pool was warm and hot tub very hot. In New Hampshire in February - this is very important. Small towls at pool - using one bath towel from the room is a better bet. Pool open from 6 am to 10 pm which made both morning and evening swims possible.
A different (store bought) snack greets you at hotel entrance at different times of the day.
Very nice complementary happy hour with hot soup and munchies every night. They have soft drinks, a local beer on tap and an extensive liquor service for a free bar (tips appreciated). Breakfast is contental plus. They had 3 types of cereal, instant oatmeal, toast, bagels, english muffins, danish, breakfast muffins and 4 types of coffee, tea, hot Cocoa along with one hot entree - it was scrambled eggs on a biscuit during my stay.Staff was very helpful. Snowed during our stay and property was shoveled and salted well.
I'd recommend highly and certainly would stay again.

This hotel offers great value for your money, especially if you are travelling with children or have young adults sharing the same room. The front desk staff are incredibly professional and make you feel very welcome during your stay. This Hampton offers a complimentary cocktail hour every night between 5 and 7 pm, complete with complimentary appetizers, which changes nightly. The complimentary breakfast buffet features blends of coffee, teas, hot chocolate, juices, cereals, breads and bagels, muffins, pastries, fresh fruit cocktail and well as an assortment of fresh fruit, and a hot dish as well, which changes daily, served with fresh biscuits. This breakfast buffet far surpasses any other offered in the area. The hostess who keeps the breakfast bar refilled at all times must be complimented as well. I agree with another review she is indeed as asset to this hotel! There is a small exercise room and well kept heated, indoor pool. The rooms feature some of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in at any hotel. There is complimentary internet access in the lounge area, and each room offers compimentary wireless as well. Although the rooms are very clean, the bathroom did seem to be in need of some cosmetic repairs, but it was well stocked, clean and can easily be overlooked because of the other amenities this hotel offers it's guests. This Hampton also offers complimentary shuttle service in the Portsmouth area, and this comes in great should you want to enjoy happy hour at the hotel and need a drive to and from a restaurant! I'd definiately recommend this hotel. I would, however, check their website for rates and book in advance and also take advantage of discounts offered, such as AAA, as the room rates do fluctuate and are more expensive the closer you book to your preferred stay.
