Over all a great burger..place was filled with families..so could use a beer and wine menu..and be more than it is. Great pricing..but I'm not sure it is worth a special trip unless you are in the area. High standards for sure!

We stopped at Lexie's for an early dinner on our way back to Maine from Boston. It was a delightful early dinner, and echoed all the praise other reviewers have offered about Lexie's. Burgers were the right size, well-prepared, and fairly priced.Fries and onion rings were tasty, although rings could stand being thoroughly patted to remove excess grease. Shakes were delicious. A well-balanced meal from a friendly and attentive staff. A bonus was a tasty chocolate chip cookie for each of us delivered with the bill at no charge. We thoroughly recommend a visit to Lexie's.

Four of us went here for lunch and we all thought our food was great. Their fish tacos were delicious! Everything they brought out to other tables looked good too. Service was friendly and very good. The little cookies with our check were a nice surprise. You'd have to look for this place as it's tucked away next to a car repair shop (or something like that), but it is a hidden gem. Very reasonable prices too! I'll be back next time I'm in Portsmouth!

We had hoped to try the new Lexie's Landing but, alas, it had already closed "for the season." Our remaining option was to return to the original Lexie's Joint. The food, and service, could not have been better! My husband and I both had burgers, his with a second patty for only $2 additional -- and mine was a special of the day topped with shredded short rib and a perfectly prepared fried egg. We decided to share a small "hot" fries side since both of us wanted a taste but not a large portion. After we had finished about half of them, our waitress returned with a second order saying our original order wasn't "up to the size" they normally serve. Though the burger patties are relatively thin (4 oz.), they were successful in preparing them medium-rare -- a feat I wish other restaurants would learn. We have never been disappointed by the service, the quality or the preparation of the food at Lexie's, and I believe you won't be either!

Had excellent 2 Fish Tacos, two juicy build your own 4 oz. Burgers (they come in 8 oz. too), one order of Fish & Chips (fries), one order of shoestring fries, and 4 drinks. Everything was delicious. The fish & chips order was generous. Bill total was $43. The check came with a mini chocolate chip cookie per person (which set off a squabble between my boys - hubbie included). Family of 4 just passing through the I-95 corridor. Found it on trip advisor on our way travelling back home from trip to Quebec and Ogunquit. One of the tastiest reasonably priced meals we've had. Would definitely come here again.
