“Just what we needed”
Reviewed February 27, 2013

We stopped at the Roundabout Diner in Portsmouth on our way home to Downeast Maine after having been to Hyannis MA, for a Marathon and Half Marathon. Awesome music playing - 50's :-) Cool atmosphere. Great food. I had the Pulled Pork Grilled Cheese with French Fries :-) very good. Hit the spot for a very hungry runner.

“Good diner food”
Reviewed February 26, 2013

We've been here a few times when we're in the area. It's pretty crowded on the weekends but it's larger than it looks from the outside so stop and see if there's a place to sit instead of just driving by the parking lot. The food is good diner fare with lots of breakfast choices.

I went here with some friends at its average. I'm sure some people would love it but, it's not too much to brag about. The food was average, the atmosphere/decor was fun to look at and the servers were attentive. It might be worth another shot.

“Busy diner on Portsmouth traffic circle”
Reviewed January 28, 2013

Cute diner ! Serves "real food" and old time favorites like chicken pot pie, pot roast dinners and meatloaf as well as burgers and sandwiches. It has a nice lounge with seating by a fireplace with a wide screen tv.
We only had an appetizer of boneless buffalo tenders and burgers which were served with waffle fries. Unfortunately, the tenders were cold, but the restaurant was extremely busy and according to our server, totally unexpected for a Sunday night. The service was excellent even though they were totally overwhelmed. Great job! We saw a lot of team work and we were asked by more than one server if we needed anything. It seems great customer service is stil around and thriving!
