I've been going to see shows at the Players for years. You'd never expect the quality of acting and production value at this old barn in the woods north of Peterborough, but the talent season after season is outstanding.

It doesn't matter what you go to see here, it is a wonderful venue- beautiful old barn structure. Ample parking and always TERRIFIC presentations. Not very expensive and well worth the experience. Just another reason why the Monadnock section of NH is lovely.

We've visited Peterborough Players over the years whenever we're in the area. You'll get your money's worth from whatever performance you choose to see at this theater. Top-notch performers, excellent scripts and overall ambiance will add up to a perfect night out. Bravo for the maked improvements we observe each and every year we return!

Love Peterborough!

This was my second outing to Peterborough Players. We just saw "I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change". It was hilarious! Very talented actors, writers, musicians. We also saw "Tuesdays with Morrie" a few years ago and again, that act was top notch. Highly recommend this venue....it is quaint....they know what they are doing and do it well!

One of the oldest continuously operating theatres, Peterborough Players opened in an old barn in the 1930s. Rustic still, it has been renovated to provide creature comforts (air conditioning essential for summer stock theaters). It presents about 6 plays each summer, the performances are professional, not slick, but exuberant, like jazz or Irish folk music. Ticket prices are very inexpensive, with multiple purchase discounts available. Well kept secret, a cultural gem in New England.
