We were able to stop at Nonie's for breakfast on our way through NH. This was a fantastic place to sit down and get breakfast. I had the banana pancakes, my wife had the eggs with sausage and toast. Everything came out perfectly and quick. They came over and had the coffee flowing the entire time.

I enjoyed the meal, service, and everything about this place. Its not often you get to a place like this in New England and can have the hometown feel, however, we will be back again for sure.

ON a beautiful summer day it is special to sit outside in the semi-garden setting and have breakfast smack in the middle of tiny little Peterborough - watching life go by. Nonie's is most likely written up in all the travel guides as well as F. Chapman's book "Making Ripples in Wilder's Town" and why is that? Because it is so special. It's not just the diner-food that we all know and love, it is an atmosphere that has pervaded this breakfast/ lunch haunt for as long as I can remember. You just feel warm and good all over after having spent a leisurely mealtime there. They will bend over backwards to make your meal a healthy one if you ask: fruit side dishes, extra spinach etc. People die for their bran muffins - usually sold out by early morning! They make their own bread, a different kind every day. The die-hards get house coffee and oatmeal with maple syrup. Peterborough has other wonderful places for meals too, but this one must be tried!

Went to Nonie's for the first time since I moved to western NH. A typical New England breakfast/lunch spot for locals. Six friends for lunch. All ordered something different from the menu/specials, and no one was disappointed. The Scandinavian seafood chowder, was ordered - apparently an award winner, and it did get a great review - VERY rich. Stop by if you are in Peterborough. Great little New England cafe.

Nonie's is the place where locals go to get lunch, breakfast. It is a traditional in town cafe, with the kind of menu you would expect -- sandwiches, soups, quiches and in the morning full breakfast with great muffins and the like. Just what one would expect.
