All the features and activity of a lakeside woodland, with access for RVs. But, alas, no hookups at all for any RV sites.

We just got back from a camping trip at Pawtuckaway State Park. It's my favorite campground hands down. The sites are huge, private, and the campground is quiet and peaceful. If you can, grab a site on Horse Island, a water front site preferably. The sites are gorgeous but book up fast. There is so much to do- hiking trails, a public beach, a STELLAR playground if you have kids, boat rentals, just wonderful. The staff is so nice too and it's some of the most peaceful camping that I've experienced. I just love this place.

We (my family and I) went camping here in July for a week brought the camper and boat. The weather was perfect 90 degrees all week the staff are very friendly and accommodating. The sites are wooded and ample in size with no hook ups, the bath houses are clean and well kept with hot showers and the lake is beautiful the beach area has a camp store that is well stocked and clean bathrooms with Picnic area and even docks available if you want to boat over for an afternoon ice cream or a cold drink soda or water no alcohol. Along the road going in there are some hiking trails we will be returning in the summer of 2013 for another week

I love the park but, trying to make reservations was a pain. Its like certain people get all the nice sites before anyone else can. THIS SYSTEM STINKS.. FIND ANOTHER PARK!!!!
