Location is good if interested in shopping - walking distance to outlets. Reception desk staff was fine. Room large and clean, but really bad smell every time we came in. Restaurant was atrocious. My daughter's pasta with butter ( hard to screw that up) was cold, and one of the noodles was brown and black, probably just burned but gross looking for a child. She didn't touch it. Spouse pasta was equally bad. I only ordered a soup (chili) as I wasn't hungry, and it proved inedible. Way too salty and processed. We had coupons for breakfast but didn't return - couldn't pay me to eat there. Waitress was nice, but clearly overwhelmed and forgot some of our items. Keep clear!

Wrong start. Arrived early and was told quite bluntly by a young lady 'no checkin before 4pm'. Returned later and the young man could not have been more helpful but the warning signs were there. He tried to find out if certain rooms were available over his walkie talkie but could get no suitable response so he had to run around trying to find a free room!!! Finally got one. Service at dinner was good but only because we booked a table. 3/4 hour wait if you hadn't. Food only just average. The following morning breakfast we were just shown a table and left. Took ages for the server to come. Ran out of milk, food on the floor of the buffet.

Returned after day out to find the room not serviced. Took over an hour of phone calls and finding someone to get it done. Long, long queues at checkin from lots of coaches every night we were there.

It was clear that the hotel were vastly short of staff. Some staff were working their socks off and trying very hard but some could not be bothered. Really felt for the one working hard.

We arrived around 3.15pm but our room was not ready so we had to return after 4pm, quite late for check in? Did not offer to store our luggage so had to take this back to car. Then a long wait to check in as only one person on front desk, who also had to answer phone. other staff were in back office, but they didn't offer to help. Not a good start....

Room was ok, clean and comfy beds and fairly quiet as we had requested, but view of car park.
Breakfast was included in room rate, but very disorganized. Lots of tables had not been cleared, seemed very understaffed. Extensive buffet choice, but much of hot food was lukewarm.
Hotel had a lot of coach parties staying, which we felt was their priority rather than independent travelers.

Convenient for shopping mall if you like that sort of thing, but some distance from centre of North Conway.

To start the check in was very slow, front desk phone service was poor. Bar doesn't carrying Genus so I had to run to the store when I just wanted to relax after a great day in the north woods. There wasn't any conditioner and there wasn't enough shampoo on arrival. The worst out of everything the maid service left the alarm set from the previous guest, and that is a must. Also there was a bulb that was blown also poor maid service. They also took a $328 dollar security deposited even though I prepaid for the room through a booking agent and it took 2 weeks to drop off my credit card, now that wouldn't have been a problem if I was informed then I would have used a different card.
Beds where comfortable AC unit was noisy though bring your own pillow, shower was hot and had great pressure. TV was nice size also room came with DVD player, Microwave and refrigerator and they all worked just fine. Location and price is great and for that reason I would stay here again as the other issues can be worked out.

Room Tip: Request a room on the front side as the rear seams noisier with service and staff vehicles.

We stayed here for a couple of nights in September and found the staff friendly & helpful. The room was a decent size and clean. Breakfast was nice but a bit expensive. We thought the restaurant was also expensive and ate elsewhere in the evening.

We had stopped here before but this time took family back with us. The hotel reception and lounge is ok with a talking moose over the tv and nice big bar. Bar service was a little slow.
The rooms are in need of a complete makeover but are clean. Hot tub is nice and hot and very close to the outlet village that you can access from the side door of the hotel

My wife and I were headed to spend a couple days in the White Mountains. We made our reservation by phone on the way there, based on a recommendation at the NH welcome center. When we arrived at 10 p.m., the front desk person was polite and efficient in getting us on our way. And when we arrived at our room, it was clean, spacious and ready for us to settle in. We did not eat at the restaurant, as we had been given recommendation of places to eat by friends. For a nice solid room at a good price, I would recommend this hote.
