We scheduled a girls getaway for our friends birthday and decided to stay some where new. Though we had some hesitation because we didn't have our children with us and its suppose to be really family oriented. WE WERE NOT DISSAPPOINTED.

We had time to relax in the hot tub and swim without feeling mommy guilt. The staff was super friendly and the view from our Mountview room was a welomed canvas of nature. I can't say enough about the grounds and breakfast was just the right amount of verity.

Being able to jump between resorts was an added bonus and I would reccommend staying at the Fox Ridge Resort to anyone.

Room Tip: If you want to watch the children play, then stay in the South Wing facing the playing. Those rooms...

The staff was very friendly, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. They had a buffet style breakfast with eggs, sausage, toast, pancakes, french toast sticks, home fries, cereal, juice and coffee. We would definitely stay here again. The location is perfect for shopping and visiting the White Mountains.

Room Tip: It costs extra for a "Mountain View Room," but from our "Garden View Room," we s...

My husband, 2-year old, and I stayed here for a weekend getaway. We were looking for a family mini vaca with an indoor waterpark, because you how the weather is in new england. In a nut shell, this place is clean, very affordable, very family oriented. I really enjoyed the waterpark in the sister resort the red jacket mountain view resort. I admit all the amenities in that sister resort are bigger and better, but honestly they are so close to each other, and there is a shuttle at the resort to bring you there so you wont have to bring your car. Breakfast was awesome! Such a variety and tasty as well. There is tons to do around... tons, especially for kids. We also went to storyland which was great for our little one. The resort it self does have activities for kids, which we didn't do much of, since all the kids were a bit older than my little one. Also the indoor pool WITH a jaccuzzi (thank you!) was a nice touch. For more info on nearby attractions you really should go the website or just google the area, and you will see what I mean.
I will definitely be going back to foxridge...and I highly reccommend for family long weekend getaways.

The Fox Ridge Resort is in a nice place, it does have some nice views. Unfortunately the weekend we went it was raining and very dense fog most the time until we left so we could not enjoy the view. The place is fairly nice, it seems more like a fancy motel then a resort though. The service was fine and they had hot apple cider out for you to take whenever. The room was okay and the bed was fine, the only disgusting thing that we found though was a nasty looking spider within the bed sheets, between the comforter and top blanket.... It was the Fall though and there is a door to the outside in the room so I was not too surprised to find a bug though. It would have been better to find none though. The breakfast was fine, it was your ordinary continental breakfast, the food was nothing special. Overall the place is fine, and for the money you pay it is not too bad.

We stayed overnight here as part of a tour and were welcomed with fresh baked cookies and warm cider, delicious! Our cases were quickly transferred to our rooms. Room was clean and comfortable as was the bathroom. Breakfast choice was very good and hot food was topped up regularly. Staff helpful and cheerful.

Thank you for taking the time to write such a nice review. Our guests love the warm cookies and cider at arrival. Chef Crystal was happy to hear that you enjoyed her breakfast buffet so much. The team thanks you for mentioning how friendly they were. Again thank you and hope to see you again for foliage in the White Mountains.

Late review but have been meaning to write a review for a while now. My family and I have stayed at the Fox Ridge Resort a few times and every time, we are very well taken care of and have a great time. The names of the front desk staff are escaping me but they have always been very accomodating and friendly. When we go to the area for Storyland, we often camp but when the weather gets rough, we bail out and go right to the Fox Ridge and they have always given us a very good price for the room. Many times, they have given us a Mountain View room with majestic views. Our favorite part of the hotel is the pool. It is very big and there are always many kids for my kids to play with. Now that my kids are bigger, I can put them in an inflatable jacket then relax in the hot tub them in plain view or read a book. It works out well for everyone. Another big plus is all of the activities for kids. There are movie nights. There is a free miniature golf area. I have not used them but I like that there are washing machines and dryers to use. The location is great. Finally, the breakfast buffet is wonderful. My kids are picky eaters but they always find something that they like. I'm already looking forward to next summer when I go and I may skip the camping this time and go right to the hotel.

Room Tip: Mountain view is fabulous. Garden view is also nice, especially ground level because you can bring...

Thank you so much for your great review. Our team is always trying to please. It's great that they put you in one of our mountain view rooms and your right, the views are Majestic! Sounds like the kids love the indoor pool, its the largest in the Mt. Washington Valley. We look forward to your return visit during camping season.
Thank you and see you soon.

The Fox Ridge was the headquarters for the National Cocker Championship field trial and they were a great company to work with. We reserved the dining room and a block of rooms a year in advance and had to plan menus for 2 events. They were very patient with me as I was the contact person for the arrangments. We also had 2 meetings and room for storage for our event. Everyone involved was pleased with the results. The rooms were fine and the food all very good for our 2 events that each had over 100 people. The setting is very scenic and the staff all friendly. Thanks to Linda S, Chuck R , the friendly front desk staff and Rick.
