My husband and I stayed here for a little "babymoon" last weekend and had a great experience. It was my second time staying there and the first time for my husband. We went during a little more of the"off" season up there so it was nice and quiet, which we enjoyed a lot. There were only two other couples staying at the Inn which gave the weekend an overall layed back vibe...which was perfect! Arthur the innkeeper was very hospitable and friendly. We stayed in one of the king suites which was very homey and comfortable. Everything was very clean and the breakfasts were great! We will absolutely stay here again!

My husband and I, and friends of ours stayed at the Eastman for a weekend. We had a wonderful time. Art, the host, was most cordial and helpful. The breakfasts were amazing, as were the cookies in the afternoon (along with tea or coffee any time during the day). The rooms were just the right size. Our friends had a gas fireplace in their room so we would gather there after skiing to just sit, relax and share a glass of wine. I will say that our friends room (#11) was much quieter. We were in room 7, and if you are light sleeper, this is not the room for you. It is in the front of the house where you can hear the traffic on the road going by. It is very bright and cheery though, with a huge bathtub. The other advantage of this B & B is that is is close enough to town, that you can take a walk into town and get some exercise in the process. Since I don't ski, I did that and enjoyed the small stores in town.

Room Tip: Choose room #11, or # 9 in the back if you are a light sleeper. Don't choose room #7, as it is r...

My husband and I enjoyed our two night stay here. We had room 10 on the second floor with a nice fireplace and comfortable king bed. The room was just tucked back enough from the road to not hear too much of the traffic on the wet road, snowplows, etc. The room was clean and spacious. Art was welcoming and friendly. The tasty breakfasts were perfectly sized and the cookies were a perfect pick me up in the late afternoon.

Spent the a couple of days here with my family. We had the rooms 14 and 15. With both rooms rented together, we had our own private 'studio-like' arrangement, completely alone on the top floor. The rooms were nicely decorated, with a lot of attention to detail.Impecably clean. It was like being at home....each room had a small TV. The breakfast was very tasty, as were the cookies which were laid out in the afternoon, with tea, coffee or hot chocolate.
The living room was cozy and there was plenty of entertainment from books, magazines or board games.
Everyone in our party was very pleased. Our hosts were pleasant, friendly and a nice addition to this B&B. I would definately return!

I visited the Eastman Inn for a last minute overnight getaway in North Conway. Everything about the stay was delightful! Making the reservation was simple and convenient as their website has detailed photos and descriptions of each room. Upon arrival we were greeted by Art, who was very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and cozy. We stayed in Room 3 and it was very quiet and private. Breakfast was delicious and served in the warm, inviting dining room where we visited with other guests! The whole stay was just what we were looking for in a mini-retreat and very affordable! We will definitely visit again!

Our choice of room when we booked, was poor. We had room no. 1 which was behind the lounge and was probably the only downstairs bedroom. With 2 single beds, a wardrobe and a "mobile" aircon. unit there was little space left to move around in. We would definitely not recommend this room for a couple although we should say that the beds were really comfortable. While the bedroom was disappointing the breakfasts more than made up for it. The food was superb with great variety and Arthur catered very well for my husband's requirement for gluten free food.

It was our 1st stay in North Conway & we couldn't have picked a better place to stay. The innkeeper, Arthur, is a wonderful host and a delight to talk to. His breakfasts are a source of pride and rightfully so because they were divine. My taste buds are still dancing with joy. Beyond breakfast, they are constantly baking all day so there are fresh cookies & brownies available along with coffee, tea & bottles of water all day long! Wonderful sitting areas & wrap around porch make it a home more than an inn. The room had THE most comfortable mattress I have ever encountered in any hotel around the world. I would recommend the Eastmann Inn to any couples planning to visit North Conway. You will truly feel welcome & relaxed.

Room Tip: Speak to Arthur before you book a room. He is very helpful & understanding and will make sure th...

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
Welcome to the Eastman Inn, a 14 room bed and breakfast located in the heart of the White Mountains. Let Arthur, Marta, or Trina welcome you to our inn with a smile, a cup of tea, a bottle of cold water and some fresh baked cookies. As you enter through our dining area you will be greeted and given a tour of the common areas. Most people love to sit on our porch above the main road heading into town. You can relax on one of our porch rockers and watch the world go by. In our parlor you will find a bookshelf of games and books for you to enjoy. Use the dining tables for that late night game of scrabble. In the winter we light the fireplace in the evenings. Each of our 14 rooms have a private bath. Our rooms are all individually decorated, some have claw foot tubs with a shower combination, others a Jacuzzi bath and others a regular stall shower. Rooms come with King or Queen beds and we even have a room with Antique Twin beds on the first floor. In the morning come down for early coffee. We need it as we cook your breakfast, so by 7:00 am we guarantee a fresh pot. You can try earlier, but we could be grumpy if that first "Cooks" pot has not fully brewed. We do our best to make you feel like family, so there are few formalities, we all just respect each others privacy and property. Ask us for hints on things to do or places to visit. We have scoured the Mount Washington Valley and we can give you pointers on avoiding the crowds, yet getting that perfect picture of a Moose, Bear or beautiful stream. The Eastman Inn has been welcoming guests for around 100 years and we hope to do it another 100. Call or make an online reservation soon, we hope to make you a very satisfied 'returning' guest. Our Eastman Family has grown so much in the past 8 years. ... more   less
