This was not our first time at this restaurant. We keep returning, hoping each time that the food and service would get better, but, no. This is our first time reviewing them on TripAdvisor. Decor was really nice, but, atmosphere is usually loud and more than often tables and floors need cleaning. The waitstaff, typically, are more interested in talking with each other than check on customers. Food is nothing special and prices are higher than they should be for what you get. Big family place, so, do not expect a quiet spot anywhere in the restaurant. Expect to wait if you go near peak meal times.

My wife and I were looking for somewhere for dinner and she thought the name of the restaurant was cute - so we decided to give the restaurant a try - WELL WORTH THE HUNCH.

The place was busy - no call ahead - but only had to wait 20 minutes. The service was awsome and the food was SPECTACULAR.

I had the pork chops and a baked potato with the days vegetable of squash. My wife had the BBQ chicken and sweet potato fries with the days vegetable as well. We both LOVED the meal.

If you are in the area we both Highly recommend checking this place out. The next time we travel that way we are definitly going back.

We took a trip out west to Vermont and on the way back we stopped in North Conway, NH for dinner at a remarkably unique restaurant called The Muddy Moose.

We both had spareribs which were outstanding, fall off the bone and just melt in your mouth. I had squash with mine, which was a real surprise.... it wasn't canned or frozen... but, fresh.

My husband had onion rings with his which he said were the best he has had in a long, long time.

I highly recommend this restaurant if you happen to be in the White Mountains of New Hamshire.

step inside and you feel like you are in the wilderness, all the decor are very uniquely moose! we had a rack of spare ribs and the venison pasta both are very well prepared and tasty. Good portion and reasonably priced.

Not sure we were at the same restaurant as other reviewers, the afternoon we visited the service right from the Greeter to the Servicer was poor not one smile, it was like a morgue. The feeling was shared by the 2 other couples we were with. the food was the best part and it was not worth writing home about. totally an unsatisfying meal and visit. We had great meals at Delany's and the Lobster Trap as well as Applebee's and a great evening and food at The Horsefearher. I will never, not again cross the threshold of the Muddy Moose. (it's ashame great looking building)
