Dropped in for a quick lunch after a casual drive up Rt 16. The parking lot seemed to have a few cars, so looked like a safe bet. When we came in, turned out only 2 other tables with customers... LOL! We were told to pick a table anywhere and selected a booth out in the "sun room." GREAT choice on a cold winter day! The sun was warm and the natural light was a great enhancement to the meal.
Lunch was good: My haddock melt was HUGE and very tasty. My husband totally enjoyed the clam chowder (full of LOTS of good stuff!) and the fried scallops (huge and very sweet). The serving sizes were big, the leftovers gave my husband ANOTHER lunch the next day. :-)
Service was good initially but then the server just disengaged. Not sure why. I needed to hunt her down (she was reading at the bar) to get the final bill.
A good stop!
