“Comfy and convenient!”
Reviewed September 14, 2013

Although North Conway was packed on the Labor Day weekend, we were fortunate enough to get one of the cottage rooms. Our only complaint was that on Tuesday morning, the office did not open at 7:30 AM for coffee and juice as promised. But other than that, it was a great place - spacious clean room, fireplace for cooler weather visits and walking distance to everything in North Conway. Definitely will return!

Room Tip: Request a cottage room - more privacy and spacious!

My wife and I were quite pleased with our 2 day stay at the Kearsarge Inn in North Conway at the end of July. We chose this rustic inn basically because we could have our dog Dixie with us, and the location, which was a mere half a block from the center of town. The room size was the equivalent of a standard-sized hotel room, with an exceptionally large and clean bathroom, having a twin sinks, a decent shower and a nice over-sized tub. The room itself was very clean and nicely decorated in a simple New England style, with a small porch entrance. The small staff there was quite friendly and helpful with any request or questions we had. I guess the best recommendation I can pass along is that we will stay there again. (If we go without the dog, we will stay in one of the larger suites which don't allow pets.) The television in the room wasn't flat-screen, but if one is watching the Red Sox, it really doesn't matter that much...

I just stayed one night (wish it was more). We had a beautiful spacious room with a king sized bed and sofa bed. It had a gas fireplace, private entrance and a very large bathroom with a shower and jacuzzi tub. It was very clean, the staff was very friendly ( I mentioned something I wanted to do in the morning while my husband slept and the clerk said " I'm going to put you down for a late check out then so you don't have to rush"). I would definitely go back there.

I stayed one night in mid July 2013 after completing a hut to hut hike with Appalachian Mountain Club. The room was very spacious, and comfortable with a private entrance off the porch. It had a little gas fireplace which would be very nice if you are in North Conway for a winter trip. The bed was very firm and comfortable as well. Its location is perfect for walking to N. Conway shops and restaurants. There is plenty of parking. I would recommend it to mature adult travellers without children as I think children belong in motels not inns. Why not let the childless self segregate and have some peace? Dogs are permitted which I like as I prefer dogs over kids everyday of the week.

Room Tip: I had a room off porch with outside entrance, which I preferred.

This is a lovely inn. It doesn't have some of the amenities of other B&Bs, such as breakfast. Coffee and juice is provided in the morning. Our room had a private entrance, perfect for walking our dog. The room was comfortable and clean. Nice big bathroom and a fireplace. The A/C was a little loud. There is a large porch to sit on and the staff is very friendly. The location is perfect, set back from the main part of town, easy to walk to.

Room Tip: There are separate cottages and an upstairs room with a deck.

I recently made a reservation and stayed a night at The Kearsarge Inn. When I called to make the reservation 'Gayle' the rep there was more than helpful getting us into a glorious room. The staff made a great effort to get us in on short notice and allowed us to use there beautiful amenities before check-in. The room itself was gorgeous and very clean. Brand new extremely comfortable pillow top king bed, super clean and large bathroom with fantastic jacuzzi, T.V., and fireplace....fit for any VIP! With very reasonable price. I would recommend anyone to stay here while in the North Conway area.

We stumbled on this inn while looking for a quick weekend getaway. We were pleasantly surprised. The inn is downtown yet just off the street enough to provide a very quiet setting. The room we stayed in was spacious and clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, the porch with rocking chairs was relaxing, and we could walk to everything in town. We could never tell others were staying there except in passing on the porch or walk (there were no vacancies) so it felt like you were the only ones there. The other guests we met were great. Some had stayed there before. We would stay there again if we pass through again.
